The company was founded in 2003. It's only because some medical research academics decided to look into the stuff at the start of 2015 (February to be precise) that any of this was exposed. Either the journalists etc were too incompetent to look into things or question things but fine promoting her and repeating her PR statements and claims uncritically or they didn't dare challenge her before then.

Suddenly the flood gates open and most of that really came from the Wall Street Journals October 2015 reportingNo-one checked the stuff, no-one challenged it, no-one questioned about lack of proof of them working or actual validation. Until some-one who was in a position to be heard did start asking the questions.
