Put up? I only hear of DSP or LTG when someone else occasionally brings up theit stupid shit.
That in fact, isn't fascism.
DSP dressed up as the cookie monster yesterday in a cheap shitty onesie, then proceeded to stream himself eating cookies and Greek food which he claims he has never tried in his 40-year-old life.
Only exposure to those names is vague memories of the 'Down the Rabbit Hole' YouTube series, and those memories being linked to a single emotion: enhanced cringe.
Being a shit talker in the fighting game community. And also that he makes his fans pay for him to turn on his camera during streams and such. Also calls everyone homophobic slurs when they beat him in a fighting game. Just a guy who's mouth writes checks he doesn't have the skills to cash.
DSP used to actually make somewhat workable game reviews back like 10 years ago at least, back in the day I just thought of him as a lower production values Angry Joe or something. But when he started streaming it was I guess when people started hating him for his personality. I dunno exactly when I stopped watching it was just one of those gradual things where you don't even realize you forgot about someone until you hear he was masturbating on stream by accident some years later and then you remember that he existed.
I mean, not many random forums get their own con, even during their haydays for a year or two, so I think it says more about the site than us, but at the same time you're not wrong either.
I think it has to do with this was the most straightfroward gaming forum I've ever found. Sure other gaming sites had forums but IGN's forums are a mess and there is always crazy fucking sign ups.
The escapist forums have been the best and cleanest forums for gaming discussion I've ever found and the fairly small user pool makes sure that your topics are likely to get reaction and response. As opposed to REddit where the user base is too high and is flooded with new shit so much that any topic you have is lost to the flood of other topics unless it's truely great, or very very bad.
Easy Allies forums are straightforward. The only flaw with their forum is the way the site formats them. Other than that, it's pretty chill over there a majority of the time. The DMC forums is pretty straightforward too.
Starts with a G and is the first thing listed on our CoC under Zero Tolerance Offenses.

Despite the reaction you received in this thread, I hope you'll still continue to post on the forums here. With checked expectations for our inclination to engage in your own personal activism, however.
