We have a politician at the age of 62 make a weird creepy anime revenge video targetting a colleague. This is the fucking world we live in now people, this is the Republican party. But then I guess we should take this guy, who's spread Charlottesville conspiracies and has been palling around with whites supremacists, at good faith.
It's shitposting........

Trump wasn't planning to clothesline the CNN building either.
People aren't planning to release crabs with laser eyes in the HQ of a number of brands.

It's funny how much AOC is showing she's like some old lady clutching at her pearls when I'm sure an easy response would be a simple edit of a Titan punching the dude out the way. Does AOC not get the idea it's meant to be metaphorical battle? Like "Oh he's planning to kill me because he showed it in a video" Hey so he's planning to do with with a jetpack / Ropes system and twin sword is he too or do you only have to worry if you grow to 100 ft tall?

I mean this is what the 5th or 6th Republican senator AOC has accused of trying to or wanting to kill her THIS YEAR alone.

Oh and Obama wasn't planning to use a Time Machine to summon past Mitt Romney to attack present Mitt Romney.

I mean, they're theoretically gonna try for accreditation
This is not necessarily as broken as it sounds, as accreditation can be secured whilst courses are mid-delivery. New courses regulated by professional bodies start in a sort of monitoring stage, and are often only fully accredited at the point the regulator is happy it's first lot of graduates are up to standard. In other cases, plenty of institutions start as non-degree awarding but eventually work up to it by meeting standards, which necessarily means some students sign up to a non-degree qualification which magically gains the right to be a degree part-way through.

It is however a huge risk for the students to sign up for a course which may not provide them with a recognised qualification.

I am concerned with this (any many similar institutions) because a lot of it seems like marketing hooey rather than focusing on what makes a good educational establishment. Lots of talk about getting in "top students" (from other universities!) to visit and getting input from great thinkers and doers, leadership and elite blah blah blah. But a good course is fundamentally about good teachers and a good educational environment, not getting Elon Musk to give a 1h seminar or supply some platitudes. A good HE teacher, of course, through the intrinsic nature of what being a good HE teacher means, should already by synthesising their teaching material from the greatest thinkers and doers.

The fact it is grandiosely calling itself a "university" without having yet received accreditation strikes me as dishonest. I would have more respect for it using a less loaded term, and converting its title if it gains accreditation. But hey - advertising first, eh?

Even if it was just that (which it isn't), grow the fuck up!
Like "Oh he's planning to kill me because he showed it in a video"
...he said as if that's a normal thing to do for a representative.

It's weird psychotic shit, like Lauren Boebert making a video of her loading a gun, holstering it, and walking to congress. It's very clear messaging. If some random dude on youtube had made this, put himself in place of some anime character who kills another character changed to represent a politician, you'd have some major red flags popping up. But this isn't some random weirdo, or even a comedian making a bad joke, this is a representative of the Republican party.

I posted about this last page, was very 2008 era lol.

Also he didn't make it, he just reposted it, and whoever DID make it apparently didn't understand that the titan he juxtaposed Biden on would go on to mop the floor with everyone that the republicans put their faces on and break a huge wall in that scene in the show lol.

No, we aren't, and we didn't - That whole thing was rightfully criticized by pretty much everyone as being in bad taste. And so is this whole thing from Gosar, except even worse because Kathy Griffin is a comedian while Gosar represents the Republican party.

It was posted under his name, he's responsible for it. Maybe if Gosar wasn't a neo-nazi flirting, conspiracy spouter I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. This is just more crazed messaging to try and whip up conservatives to defeat their enemies through force, like the aforementioned Lauren Boebert add, or Marjorie Taylor Greene posing with an assault rifle infront of a picture of AOC and Ilhan Omar.

Oh stop being bitter about popping up to grumble and me and then getting proved wrong. If I asked you to take responsibility for all your bullshit we'd be here for weeks so do you want me to start bringing up stuff to show I'm right again on the grounds if I do you then have to take responsibility for all your bullshit or do you want me to let you slink off this time because something tells me you won't enjoy taking responsibility for your bullshit.
What have I been proved wrong on?

Goddammit man, don't you realise that thing he read on Twitter proves everything?
Maybe dwarven is just jealous of tstorm being the forum's reigning champion of Danth's Law, wants to get in on some of that action.

You keep making this joke, but you don't actually take part in arguments. Relative to you, everyone else here is winning in every argument just by putting forward actual thoughts rather than lazy one-liners.

No initially it was played as just a joke and not an issue at all just GOP not having a sense of humour and it totally not being malicious at all...... until it was shown to have a fair degree of malice behind it rather than being a silly shitposting joke and infact Kathy Griffin then threw a fit when some-one did a version of it back to her.

Again no it's nonsense shitposting which anyone in their right mind can see as meant to be a metaphor and not taken literally.
