I don't side with EGS so much as understanding the situation right now between Steam and EGS is if Steam does something, EGS will take the opposite direction because that is how they are trying to compete with Steam. I don't support EGS so much as seeing how their business practices are made. And their strategy is to do what shareholders tell them to do, and trying to be ethical is a path to have an injunction filed to say you are not fit to run a business. There is also the issue of the ESG which Epic wants to stay on the good side of while Steam doesn't have to worry because of their status as a private company so far.
The way you posted before says otherwise. We've been telling you how much bad news Epic was since 2020. Regardless, I'll still take Steam over EGS any day. Any time, any where.
That is another reason why I don't like porn games on Steam because that is the biggest target you can paint on someone as payment processors make it as difficult as it can for adult entertainment.
That sounds like less of a Steam problem, and more of an adult entertainment problem (be it movies or games). And still does not answer my previous statement or question. Are you actively seeking these games out, or are you just that unlucky they keep showing up in your Steam recommendation? I know these games, exist, but I don't care. As long as a kid can't access them, which we know they can't, then we're good. Most kids are even interested in adult games. Too busy with Fornite, GTA, Read Dead 2, Roblox, and Minecraft for that shit . All the more funny, because GTA and Read Dead have sexual content. More so the latter. Before you start, I know most kids don't bother with the single player, but my point still stands.
If I will be frank, part of it came from hanging out in left wing forums a lot and agreeing with the opinions of people more woke than some of the people here and have a problem with how problematic some Japanese content can be.
Embracing the left wing's views on the problematic nature of media and trying to be woke is also what kept me going.
All of that is on you. Stop trying to be "woke", and actually be a decent/good fucking human being. All you are doing is enforcing a stereotype racists and sexists made up, because they don't want to feel bad about being assholes nor have any conscious. This game of who's more "woke" than the other is another dick measuring contest, no different from ultra conservatives, or the section of gamers that act like constant assholes. Being "woke/anti-woke" means nothing to me, and is just another set of terms to divide people. Terms made up by a bunch of stupid and foolish old men and women, who don't want treat other not like them with respect or dignity.
So how about you get off your fucking high horse and stop with the nonsense?! No one is telling you should play any of these Japanese games! If you don't wanna play them, more than fair. But just fucking stop! Stop it! You've said nothing new at this point, and have been ranting the same thing over and over again! These games are always going to exist. Don't worry about them and spend more time spreading the word of better or more interesting games. It's what I do. Most people know what they're doing when they make these purchases of what games they want to play.
