We need to normalise vasectomies and make them quicker and easier and reversible.
I don't know if you're joking but I fully agree

Also, make it mandatory so some idiots can understand what they are asking for

A point of data I only found out just now (which means it is likely someone else does not know this):

Nearly one in four women in the United States (23.7%) will have an abortion by age 45.

Which was a lot more common than I thought.
It's also important to note that many already have children. So forcing them into child birth in a country with no mandatory paid maternity leave is going to put their existing children's welfare in jeopardy.

Also fuck Bill Maher and fuck his privileged white guy rant. ****.

I can't wait for a bunch of Americans to get locked up over miscarriages. And by 'can't wait', I actually mean facepalm
I mean, that's only gonna happen to the right sort of people. Can't forget to reinforce our stark class and race divides with policing.

EDIT: Politicians are way too comfortable in the US

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Have some lawyers arguing about it.

Local chucklefuck getting in on the action. Good thing the Montana Supreme Court is slightly resistant to shenanigans

Just got back from a visit with a friend who, over a drink, assured me that he want's Roe v. Wade overturned. He was very resolute that it needed to be overturned. I asked why he felt that way, and he said "because it's a woman's right to decide whether or not to carry any pregnancy to term!"... I had to inform him that that's exactly what Roe v. Wade does, and overturning it would remove that right. His response? "Oh, then yeah, keep it!"

This is democracy: a bunch of ill-informed people voting on legislation that they know nothing about, but are simultaneously very passionate about taking a side in. This asshole was ready to run to the polls and, in complete ignorance, vote people into office that diametrically oppose his own core beliefs. I believe in democracy; what I don't believe is that humanity has evolved [mentally] to the point that it actually works. We need a kind-hearted dictator with the best interest of everyone in mind who doesn't give a shit what "we" think, because "we" are a bunch of easily-led, easily-fooled idiots. Basically, our political system needs needs bumper rails not unlike one might find at a family-friendly bowling alley.

It's impressive that you both managed to fit beneath that rock he apparently lives under.

...what I don't believe is that humanity has evolved [mentally] to the point that it actually works.
I once heard a quote that went "the human brain is the perfect device for solving problems that haven't existed for twenty thousand years."
