It's probably not bull on trans rights.

Although that said, whilst Iran accepts transition, as I recall it's not doing it from some sort of place of love and tolerance.
Do.... you think there is love and tolerance in Texas?

Texas is trying to make the bar so low that Iran can jump it. That is in no shape or form a compliment to Iran

That's the point. Iran accepts transition (not for what we'd probably think of as very admirable reasons)... and Texas is even worse.

IIRC, a male person can claim through religious devotion that they are not gay but born in the wrong body. After all living as a gay man is not possible in Iran. Emphasis on living.

Look, it's Iran. When I first found out about this, I was surprised. I thought they would just make gay and trans people unliving

Sure. Nevertheless unless I'm completely out of the loop they don't make gay men choose between death and sex reassignment in Texas.

It's not quite that bad. Iran does execute men for sodomy, but only in a small minority of cases. Much more commonly it's fines, corporal punishment or imprisonment. Plus, of course, outside the law there's enormous societal discrimination, vigilante killings and beatings, etc.

Generally, I think as long as homosexuality occurs discreetly in private homes and doesn't bother anyone else, the authorities tend to turn a blind eye.

Man it was a joke to point out the absurdity of your claim. One factor. You named one factor and claimed that proves minorities have better opportunities in republican states. Even if that is the biggest factor it doesn't prove that it outweighs all of the other factors combined. You can't genuinely be that dense?

Edit: also the idea that people are moving to more Conservative states doesn't prove that those people are minorities. Like nothing you've said holds water. Even by your incredible lack of standards for proof you have nothing here. You're a grown up and that is astounding to me.
Housing costs are the biggest costs people have, they are the most important. There is literally a black reverse migration to the south.

I would suggest you look up the news about what's happening in Texas

Like, if these suite of law get through that Abbot is pushing for, I would count Iran as more progressive on transrights and homosexuality than Texas
OMG, what rights do trans people not have?

Did you actually even read what I wrote?

I lived in Dublin for years despite the ridiculous cost of living because it's where I could get a job. I said even if it is the single biggest factor, that doesn't prove that it outweighs every other factor.

If you have kids being near family can massively absorb the costs of childcare. If you live in a city moving to more rural areas may require the additional cost of buying and running a car. If you're a minority moving to a state that fucking hates you might not seem like a wonderful idea either.

Then there's being able to find work, upending your life and leaving friends and family behind.

You've claimed that because housing is cheaper that minorities have better opportunities in republican run states. That's one factor out of many. Are you even trying to make coherent arguments.

... What?

It's fascinating watching you just carpet bomb wrong everywhere.

They ain't going to find shit.
I don't think they care. This is just theater to distract us from their imminent decision.

Do you only have a stable of about 3 or 4 youtubers? I've seen that guy's gurning face in your posts at least 5 or 6 times.
Anything wrong with the content of the video...?

Yet nobody can say what rights trans people don't have.

I was going to make a reply but this has summed up the whole thing
Again, what rights don't trans people have? Literally nobody can state what rights need to be fought for...

I read it. Housing costs are usually the main thing for most people. Housing costs also go hand in hand with opening your own business as well. Renting like the smallest space for business in NYC is beyond ridiculous. American public transportation isn't good enough to live without a car. I have a friend that over the last year got a job and apartment in Chicago and was posting pics and such on Facebook about how excited she was and just a week back she's messaging in our group chat that she got a 2nd job because she couldn't afford living in Chicago and I told her that she needs to get out of Cook County and she said she's gonna look out of Illinois for better opportunities after her lease is up. A black person can move to any state in America and not be hated.

I think they probably will. There's a very limited number of people who had access to the documents that were leaked and the investigation can get whatever warrants they want to get whatever information they want. Who's going to stop them? The supreme court?

We'll see, but I doubt it. Does not matter much at this point.
