"I can't understand why us gamers have a reputation as toxic man-children! Well, time to send off another anonymous death threat because I didn't get my shiny toy the moment I wanted it."
I remember about 10-ish years ago a certain event that made me never want to call myself a gamer ever again. Now I'm reminded yet again why I don't use that descriptor for myself, despite spending more of my off time playing games then anything else.

I understand your sentiments. Me personally, I have no problem calling myself a gamer, and will happily show others there are good and decent people in this community. Not a bunch of loud mouth, petty, jack asses with too much time on their hands.

Bits & Beats missed a couple of games. What about Sengoku 1 & 3, X-Men, and Zero Team? I know you can't hit every single game, but you got plenty of the more obscure games. I won't mention the 3D games, because they probably does not have the proper hardware or emulation to run the games.

TIL the Sega logo has been around since the mid 70's, and now that I know, yeah, that's totally a 70's futuristic design

Kinda miss the "ssseeegggaaaaa" on startup tho.

And there have been SNES fanboys said the Genesis could not have, nor get graphics on par with SNES games. Shows how full of shit they are.

I didn't even know Yahtzee was doing this kind of thing. SkillUp was a recent find of mine, his weekly gaming news videos are a staple of my mindless YouTube binges.

For those looking more so for that old school survival horror feel. Like I said before, start looking at the indie & AA scene. You got plenty to keep you company.

Needs to be a real game.

I know there's an actual Elden Ring. But I want this one too.

I'd be perfectly ok with 16 bit versions of all FROM games
I’d much rather play those than the PS1 demakes actually. The logic there is, why play the shittiest version of a 3D game when you could play the best version of a 2D one, basically.
