That's watching it "ironically".
I know. Which is why those types of fucking fuckers can fuck off extra hard. Quit being an indecisive biatch trying to please your "friends" or random people online who don't give a crap about you to begin with.

And when was the last time we did shame? I mean shame for like your hobbies and personal likes, not for illegal shit celebs and politicians do. Feels like shaming people for their tv shows died out with bronies and MLP, but honestly it's been on its last leg since well before PowerPuff Girls and Kim Possible. Dudes can watch girl shows, girls can watch dude shows, everyone can watch trashy real house wives, and we're at a point everyone, dude and girl, can admit they've looked at furry porn at least once.
I mean come on, like what you like and stand by it. If someone gives you grief, dump them. The world sucks enough already, you don't need to feel bad for being a 30 year old dude who likes play the Sims.

There was also A Pup Named Scooby Doo, which was a far better attempt at satirizing these characters then Velma could ever be. Velma was an egghead who would always just find clues because, Daphne was super rich and would buy the crew out of trouble, and Fred was paranoid and would always accuse a character who was literally called Red Herring. And it had a fucking banger of an opening.

Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated has its problems but putting the Scooby Gang into Twin Peaks-lite and giving their neuroses actual consequences remains the most convincing attempt at a more "adult" Scooby Doo cartoon.

YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, and other places depending on where you look. Yes we've gotten better, but there's still other places that shame those for liking something that's not in their target demographic or whatever is deemed "immature". Did you forget about the video game industry and all the professional critics getting upset for people not falling in love with games like The Last of Us Part 2 or the DmC reboot? Did you know Limited Run Games fired one of their own employees, just because he said that the Hogwarts Legacy game looks good? That actually happened. A person being shamed and fired just for saying a game was good? It's unconstitutional.

Once again, depends on where you are. Most people have gotten better about this, you still got those from the older generation and edgy assholes from different corners of the internet, that try to shame others for enjoying something not in the target demographic and not "adult/mature". The shaming can still happen, is just another direction or for a slightly different reason.

Bronies did a great job of throat punching, making fun of people for their hobbies, but its one of those things that will never die as long as people are assholes and play the stupid culture war game. It's already starting to come back with conservative attacks on drag since drag is a safe target, but if it seems to work then you can bet we will be back to judging based on hobbies and likes.

They also followed and were supportive of multiple bigoted twitter accounts, so no actually that didn't happen.

No it isn't. The US constitution does not encompass labour rights. The US broadly has very weak labour laws as a result of its historical suppression of the labour movement. The acceptable grounds for termination vary from state to state. Many states remain employ-at-will meaning they may legally dismiss an employee for any reason.

This is an EPIC burn.

And "Biggest premiere day for a Max Original animated series ever"? That's like bragging about being the tallest Hobbit, or the best Nickelback song.

Did you know Bandobras Took was so large he could ride a real horse? And during the Battle of Greenfields he charged at the goblins and knocked off the head of their king with single blow from his club. The head flew through the air for 100 yards and went down a rabbit hole. Thus was the battle won, and the game of Golf invented at the same time.

This is new to me. I didn't hear about this. You got any links? If so understandable then, but LMR can still screw off. They screw people out of their money and overcharge on crap.

I watched about 5 minutes of clips

c7d44e55-3027-4d4c-901a-98054a9f2d7d_text.gif

I think the difficulty of edge comedy that a lot of writers and producers don't get is that it's all about timing and punchlines. The dialog in the show is super off and kind of robotic. It lacks "wit". Its like if in Shawn of the dead the guy says "You've got red on you" and then they have a conversation about blue collar worker tropes for 5 minutes. They seem to think that running commentary is enough. You still got hit me, surprise me, something. I say this as somebody who thinks the Solar Opposites, Hit-Monkey, Harley-quinn and Little Demon are pretty solid shows. Lower Decks even. Im here for nonsense, Im just got getting the delivery, and Im getting shitty totinos.

I wonder if it raised any concerns with the writers Frank Welker, who has voiced every single Freddy since the OG show in '69 wasn't brought on to be the new Fred, but instead plays Fred's father whose whole personality trait is he's ashamed of Fred.
Like...did no one wonder about the optics or implications of this? Even putting superstition aside, that's just bad casting.
Imagine recasting Indiana Jones, and having Harrison Ford come in as another character to take the piss out of the new Indy, call him names and say he'll never amount to anything. That's a pretty obvious self inflicted wound.

I do kinda wonder how much millennial and GenZ writers are affected by "online outrage". I used to watch a lot of MovieBob both before and after his fall from grace, but I just couldn't handle his obsession with virtue signaling and online outrage. By virtue signaling I don't mean being diversity positive, but the whole ranting non-stop about toxic fandom and incels, declaring me a nazi because I think Last Jedi sucked or toxic for thinking maybe Snyder deserved a swing at a Justice league remake.

I see that loop a lot lately, online trolls shit on something diverse, everyone flips out. Over and over. My fear is that I see a lot of people basically saying the content and fans are now toxic and now we have mindy kayling hate writing a scooby reboot. As a nerd consumer I just would like them to leave me and my precious nostalgia junkfood out of it.

Not by much. No more or less than any other generation. The ones that stay off Twitter anyway.

It's why I dropped his sorry ass in 2014. I already saw the signs coming and he was known for doing this beforehand to a lesser degree. He does this thing where he accuses everybody of being something their not, or blames the audience this is for why his favorite stuff doesn't get made or canceled. He either won't apologize or pretend to be sorry about it only to go back to doing what he did beforehand within a matter of weeks or a month.

This happened even beforehand, but Twitter was in a thing yet we're just got started. These trolls always existed and doing this crap, but we're mostly kept to the dark parts of the webs or forums. Twitter is nothing more than an open form everyone can use. I said this since the very beginning of its inception. It is the reason why I wasn't a big fan of it from the start.

And those people can kindly fuck off. If they can't understand why or assume we are just like the races or sexist jackasses, then there's nothing left to discuss with them. They're no different than their conservative overreactionaries. Those with actual sense can see why people don't like this show beyond the race, sex, or sexual preference of the characters.

Here is problem with any of these ignorant mouthafuckas:
