Sure, you can. But... why would you even want to do that ? I mean it is not that a TV screen is generally better or cheaper than a regular PC screen and i personally prefer keyboard and mouse unless it is a bad port (and then using controller on PC is fine).

I mean, yes, if you really want the console experience, a laptop can trivially replace an Xbox.
Easy portability and greater utility found in a laptop or Steam Deck than a console. I'd hate to carry around a PS5. For those with good Internet, streaming just keeps getting better. I can play Luna from Amazon over a Firestick type device (I have a discontinued "pendent" that works fine). Imagine going on a business trip and just taking your controller and a Firestick with you.

I do wonder, if Iwould I be able to use a keyboard and mouse on Xbox or Playstation. Hmm. Reviewing.

EDIT: Yup.

Ah, i see. You come at it from the perspective of whether laptop or a console is better for the traditional console use where i consider having laptop/PC at the ready and and whether using them in a regular way or as console proxy.

Amiibos are still a thing?
I think I’ve seen them for sale at vastly reduced prices. I’ve got a couple but that’s cos I wanted a cheap figure of Samus. In fact they’ve enjoyed a rather big secondary market that way, same as the Disney Infinity things. People buy them cos they’re cute, stylised mini statues. I got like, all the core Avengers and Star Wars cast (minus a clone trooper for Rex. Booo!) plus Elsa from Frozen. They’re neat.
