The boring one

School principal forced out if Christian *public* charter school for showing woke classical artwork
Arwa Mahdawi on it.
normally, a letter is sent out to parents of students warning them that their kiddos are going to see a picture of one of the world’s most famous sculptures. (I believe this is known as a “trigger warning”, something I thought the right were vehemently against.)

Uganda banned all forms of gayness apparently, making this video relevant again:

Well, they've been trying for the last 10 years or so, I guess there was a chance one was going to stick eventually. I think the previous effort was vetoed by the president, and the one before that was ruled invalid by the Ugandan courts.

Just write up a list of Republicans who are the most vocal in attacking homosexuals. Odds are at least half of them are just trying to draw attention away from their own "deviant behavior".
Those who argue that "homosexuality will naturally spread if it isn't strongly repressed" don't even need to be outed.

The disgusting (-er) part is that this is partially due to lobbying from american "christian" zealots who do tours of Africa devoted to preaching, not the infinite love and forgiveness of Christ, but how evil gay sex is.

Lively has been involved in the ex-gay movement and has staunchly opposed LGBT rights. In 1995, he co-authored The Pink Swastika, a book falsely claiming gay people were prominent in the Nazi Party and were behind Nazi atrocities. He has called for the criminalization of "the public advocacy of homosexuality" as far back as 2007. Widely credited as an engineer of Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Act, 2014, he gave a series of talks to Ugandan lawmakers before the drafting of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill.
....
As Lively traveled from the Baltics to Siberia, he pressed officials to outlaw the "public advocacy of homosexuality" and urged officials from passing anti-discrimination laws. Eight of the nine countries he visited eventually weighed nationwide bans on "homosexual propaganda," and five (including Russia) either have bills pending or have since passed them into law. Lively takes partial credit for this development and calls Russia's gay propaganda ban his "proudest accomplishment."[14]
....
"[T]housands of Ugandans, including police officers, teachers and national politicians", reportedly attended the conference. Lively and his colleagues "discussed how to make gay people straight, how gay men often sodomized teenage boys, and how 'the gay movement is an evil institution' whose goal is 'to defeat the marriage-based society and replace it with a culture of sexual promiscuity.'"[18] He asserted that the 1994 Rwandan genocide "probably" involved gay men whom he referred to as "monsters."[14] Lively wrote days later that "someone had likened their campaign 'to a nuclear bomb against the gay agenda in Uganda.'"[18]

They seem to have mostly switched to "it really wasn't that big a deal" but I have seen a few of them claim the destruction was caused by agitators.

Sometimes I wonder if Al-Qaeda/ISIS are glowies and Patriot Front are glowies, are ANTIFA glowies as well?

The new York post is not a credible source.

The Post has been criticized since the beginning of Murdoch's ownership for sensationalism, blatant advocacy, and conservative bias. In 1980, the Columbia Journalism Review stated that the "New York Post is no longer merely a journalistic problem. It is a social problem—a force for evil."[60]

The Post has been accused of contorting its news coverage to suit Murdoch's business needs, in particular avoiding subjects which could be unflattering to the government of the People's Republic of China, where Murdoch has invested heavily in satellite television.[61]

In a 2019 article in The New Yorker, Ken Auletta wrote that Murdoch "doesn't hesitate to use the Post to belittle his business opponents", and went on to say that Murdoch's support for Edward I. Koch while he was running for mayor of New York "spilled over onto the news pages of the Post, with the paper regularly publishing glowing stories about Koch and sometimes savage accounts of his four primary opponents."[62]

According to The New York Times, Ronald Reagan's campaign team credited Murdoch and the Post for his victory in New York in the 1980 United States presidential election.[63] Reagan later "waived a prohibition against owning a television station and a newspaper in the same market", allowing Murdoch to continue to control the New York Post and The Boston Herald while expanding into television.

In 1997, Post executive editor Steven D. Cuozzo responded to criticism by saying that the Post "broke the elitist media stranglehold on the national agenda."[64]

In a 2004 survey conducted by Pace University, the Post was rated the least-credible major news outlet in New York, and the only news outlet to receive more responses calling it "not credible" than credible (44% not credible to 39% credible).[65]

The Post commonly publishes news reports based entirely on reporting from other sources without independent corroboration. In January 2021, the paper forbade the use of CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post, and The New York Times as sole sources for such stories.[66]

Not to mention when they said that Antifa was infiltrating the capitol rioters, that's a big red flag there.
Maybe they were talking about the FBI that infiltrated antifa? Maybe it was the same spy doing both, and they had seen em be with antifa before being in the riots at the capital, but it was actually fbi all along. It's not the craziest thing to realize, only recently I saw a story about a pink haired pornstar with (according to cop bodycam footage) huuuuge tits, trying to trick antifa into buying illegal guns from the fbi, and that's pretty much confirmed as fact now.

That's a lot more plausible than a lot of whats being bandied about, yeah.

Basically a slightly unhinged person once said CIA people and other government officials actually glow in the dark.

The Netherlands
The Dutch far right is not as vile and pathetic as the American one, but sometimes traits and tactics from America do start appearing in these parts. Most prominently Forum for Democracy is a direct outgrowth of the American culture war.

Currently we find ourselves in the situation where the American moral panic regarding children has migrated to the Netherlands. We have had sex education in schools for about as long as we had schools but last week conservative forces started shouting from the rooftops how sexual education is secretly a method from pedophiles to indoctrinate our children. A little before this a writer supposed to write a poem for the children's book week was given so many death threats he had to withdraw from the even. The reason for all these threats being that this writer was gay...um I mean because once he wrote a book for adults in which pedophilia occurred and was denounced.

It's perfectly plausible that there are people who both attended rallies in support of Antifa and also supported Donald Trump. Let's face it, there are a lot of people out there who are ideologically incoherent and inconsistent, or otherwise have certain strong and eccentric views which may cause radical shifts in apparent allegiance depending on who they perceive best reflects them.

I can also believe that people associated with Antifa did indeed attend and blend in at the Capitol riot as an element of "spying" on their assumed opponents. What I don't think has any credibility is that people associated with Antifa had any meaningful impact on the riot, no matter how much the US right tries to hammer the idea.
