Marc Webb's (The Amazing Spider-Man) Snow White remake has been coming under fire a lot lately, and the son of the original 1937's movie's director isn't happy with how the movie is currently shaping up.
Ugh.
Look, I'm no fan of Disney's live-action remakes, and this new one doesn't fill me with any confidence, but again, I point to stuff like Snow White and the Huntsman and Once Upon a Time. Were they "woke" for giving Snow more agency?

But seriously, if you can't explain why "radical" changes to something are so bad and can only label it "woke", then your opinion is worthless.
Felt a little Dune-y. The visuals are kinda uneven though. Some shots looked great, others looked like TV level shtick.
I'll give a chance, as it looks more interesting than his dumb zombie movie. I wish Zack would stop with the muted color pallete. It's not as bad as JL: Snyder Cut, but dude, us some fucking color! He's hasn't used a variety of color since Dawn of the Dead (2004). I know Man of Steel wasn't that muted or greyed out, but it could be distracting for some people.
Also, he want to make a Star Wars movie, and pitched the idea to Disney at the time, when they just bought the IP.

Dune part II delayed to 2024 due to Writer's Strike.
Such is life I guess.
I'd be the first to admit I know nothing about film production, but is that implying that within the next 6 months (assuming the strike ends tomorrow) they are planning to write the movie, then complete the entire filming and VFX process <_<
Give there are trailers and the movie was supposed to be out by November, I suspect most of the work is post production. Or it could be an act of solidarity.
I think the writers are often brought back post production to write lines that will be ADRed in. Which usually means the recorded dialogue they already had ended up making no sense or had to be cut or edited for time.

I know the previous crossover did well, but I didn't expect them to do another one this soon.
Oh Christ, I've just realised as soon as this hits a streaming service here, I'm gonna get a phone call from my dear old mum asking me what the fuck RBWY is. Because she loves her DC and Marvel animation, so as soon as she gets a whiff of this, she'll be on to it.
Might as well get it over with it, and show her a few clips of the actual show. That, and throw in some Dead Fantasy while you are at it. It'll be hilarious.
