Whatever, just wash your hands.
Biden seems really on the ball, he has some gaffs but not really much more then a normal politician. Its so weird that right wingers tend to say hes not fit when we have so much footage of trump rambling his way through his rallies. His latest hit is about how water turns off magnets.

Even if he was unfit, he still appoints people who know their shit, so hes fine.

Watching Biden and his wife do some simple holiday thing live (fluff question/answer type thing), Biden looks totally out of it and his wife is the one that steers the him the whole way. Trump, on the other hand, seems like he's someone that can actually have a coherent conversation, in his odd Trump-like fashion albeit.

Biden wasn't fit to run in 2020, all we have now is proof he should never have been in office in the first place.

Biden often seems incoherent, fuzzy, confused and sluggish to respond. I don't know how likely it is that these elements of communication reflect on his actual cognition or judgement-- but it hardly inspires confidence in leadership.

Granted, his communication is still better than Trump's-- who can scarcely keep the topic of his own sentence straight, constantly contradicts himself, and just blurts buzzwords and insults without comprehension or relevance. Biden is at least capable of speaking on a subject, albeit falteringly; Trump cannot even manage that. But that's an extremely low bar.

The American parties desperately need to start looking to younger talent. They cannot remain in thrall to ancient moguls or dynasts forever. And it's fucking embarrassing.

Who the hell is that whackjob anchor?

Biden had gaffs and whatnot in his prime. It's probably one of the most endearing things about him. I'm sure he's declined cognitively somewhat, but it's not that extreme when you compare him to his past self rather than what you might imagine a president should be.

And more importantly, the US is unified under a system rather than a leader, so he could sleep for 4 more years and the nation would keep working.

The fundamental difference between Trump and Biden is mostly that Trump is extremely aggressive. This appears confident and active. It is well known that people often tend to overrate confidence and mistake it for competence - because if someone acts like they know what they're talking about strongly enough, it's great at tricking people into thinking that they do.

I believe Sky Australia has a business model of producing material for the consumption of the US right that even Murdoch's US business feel too extreme.

On the other hand, Biden really should not be the candidate for 2024 if the Democrats have any sense. So, of course, he will be. I'm not entirely sure the Democratic Party cares that much - at least the upper echelons. Even if they lose the presidency, their Congresspeople and Senators will still have their seats, the money will keep rolling in and keep the party staffers in their jobs. In that sense, they can't really lose.

Neither of them are fit to run. But we live in this shithole country where the old refuse to let go of power so we're stuck with two people who if they were average citizens would be in a home playing Bingo right now rather than leading the country.

We're talking about the guy who boasted how the Revolutionary Army took over airports. (And then blamed that on a teleprompter, after years of criticizing Obama for using one.) And let's not forget covfefe, Tim Apple, Biden plunging us into World War II....

If enough young people voted, they could change this. But voting is pointless, plus complaining on the Internet is easier.

Have just seen the clips of Trump telling the audience he doesn't overthink putting on trousers because if he thinks for too long he might not want to do it. And the clip of him claiming that if you pour water on a magnet it stops working.

Yeah, ain't really a contest. Biden is a muddled, poor communicator, but capable of adult speech. His opponent is not.

I swear to god I saw a headline couple of days ago pop up in the rando news feed claiming Joe was stepping down for health related reasons. But as it didn't show the website/outlet source and the last one I gambled on turned out to be a stealth Express news article, just assumed it was more of their time-wasting bollocks and moved on with day. pray tell was that indeed a load of cheeky porkie pies as suspected?
