Says the man who knows every YouTuber*
I never once made that claim. You assumed I do. I know quite a few, but not every YouTuber under the sun, nor the entire world. While many do share similar views I have, I don't 100% agree on every single thing, and there a videos I can 100% disagree on. The difference between the ones I post is that they don't have their heads up their asses (usually), unlike the self fart sniffers like Gaming Brit, Electric Underground, Synthetic Man, nor any bitches like them who claim to be all about gaming or are "TRUE GAMERS". The rest I don't bother remembering, because all under the same shit of using click bait titles with bold red, white, or black lettering with white outlines. They're all interchangeable at this point.
There are plenty of problems I have with the gaming industry, but I remember to keep myself grounded and that not every person that games is not exactly like me, and that's okay. I can live with that. People spend their time however they want on a game, so long as they're not being assholes nor anyone is being harmed.
When I do post opinion pieces, I don't feel at all like I let the YouTuber speak for me. This one got a little long-winded for me, but good video.
Lately, you have. I count two, plus that article from that blu ray link. And it's a shitty video not worth the brain cells listening to.
*Three out of three times you've had choice words about some dude I posted. I don't know how you have the time to watch so many.
Not my fault you happened to watch videos of people I know about. GB I do subscribe to, but I rarely bother with him nowadays; especially if it's anything modern gaming related. For all his shit talk about SH2R, he had no problem praising the shit out of RE2R and RE4R, so he's just being hypocritical biatch again.
Synthetic Man's track record has obvious red flags going by his post history you selectively ignore for the sake of comfort and convenience. Spoken like a true capital G gamer.
Remakes aren't killing the industry, but they are a symptom of the problem. The high cost thanks to bad priorities that makes publishers so nervous about producing original games.
Nah, that would be the shitty live-services, wannabe hero shooters, and wannabe Fornite clones that keep popping up, because the AAA industry can't learn for shit. Once again, AA and indie are kicking ass and actually helping too. If remakes were truly killing the industry, they would all be failing right now. There are bad remakes/remasters, don't get me wrong, but let's not pretend most remakes have been performing horribly. No one forcing you to buy these either. If you're that starving for new and original content, go to the indie scene. You'll be in heaven. I know I am whenever I get something from there. It's called have balance and enjoy life for once.
It's sad how much they are going back to financially proven games in their aversion to risk, with the new version always more homogenized to the current standards that have had so long to solidify.
Sad, but not every AAA company is doing this. The real problem is these fools constantly needing prove/answer to their shareholders
I don't feel like going into this in more detail again right now.
Because you don't have much evidence offer other than de-flinging excuses/arguments that have nothing to do with anything. So spend that time not sitting on your ass whining, and choose to play games you enjoy and find something new. There's plenty out there that is not hard to find. These titles are either coming out at the end of the year, or sometime next year. Or catch up on new and original titles you missed. Don't give me pathetic excuses about you not being able to find anything. I'll hear nothing of it. If someone like you can't find anything, then that is your problem.
Also, just be happy Silent Hill is getting proper recognition again. It's not all doom and gloom you like to make it out to be. With this remake, people who never heard or tangentially heard of the franchise are now interested in other titles, because of their impressions on this remake. Most of them are not going to go out and buy older consoles to play the original titles, but that is not net negative. So what? People have lives and we all alive under different circumstances. I'll take people's appreciation now, then not knowing anything at all. Nor get my feelings hurt, because they didn't happen to be born around the same time I was. Nor act better than people for not being in some dumb exclusive club of old games they never got the chance to play or aren't interested in playing. It's called respecting other people's time and choices.
Silent Hill 2 Remake developer Bloober Team is open to making more remakes in the franchise or even a new Silent Hill game altogether.

The success of Konami's Silent Hill 2 remake shows that horror games are still profitable, and remakes are still en vogue.
