Don't know who that is but yes, I can see it.
A Nickelodeon producer who became a meme on 4chan, and some other places, for possibly being a molester and definitely being a creep.

Interesting, but not surprising.
I think that's actually pretty good numbers for PC, but I could be wrong.

TBH though a lot of Europe still pirates games. If I'm anywhere outside of western Europe I'm pirating the shit out of games. Recently the uptick to $70 has started to get on my nerves so I checked the ISO scene and man are they still trucking right along. I coulda played Silent Hill 2R well before the release if I felt like being a dick.

First video I've seen since he left Escapist. He's mostly right, of course. Was gonna tell BrawlMan, but never got around to it, that when next I play Shadow of the Colossus it will be the original again so that I can once again appreciate the artistry and ingenuity/tricks that went into making the game for the very limited PS2, which, like Yahtzee says here, is lost in a remake. "The Silent Hill 2 remake didn't have to find creative ways to bypass its limitations, because there aren't any anymore, really... But the irony is a lack of parameters can be stifling to creativity. Everything starts to become homogeneous." Exactly. But when he says a cinematic camera isn't immersive, that's where I disagree. I always feel separated from the character anyway, in every game. His videos are too short. I know he wanted to say more.

Sounds pretty accurate. A near 75% to 25% ain't bad. Though it still shows most people prefer playing on console than PC.

And you all did. Be proud of yourselves and move on forward.

@hanselthecaretaker2, this one is for you.

Looking forward to seeing more of Cronos, which sounds like another passion project for them but this time more original.

NoChillTV is right with his point. I got it time stamped. The people hating on remakes, because they love their precious originals so much is ridiculous. Especially when a majority of said remakes are of great quality. The people who hate on these remakes or people who enjoy them, are full of shit, and act as if they're forced to play them. When said whiners more than likely have the means to play the original versions on console, GOG, or emulation. NoChill does call out the bad remakes or lazy remasters such as GTA Trilogy and TLOUS Pt.1. So it's not like he's blindly praising remake that comes out. He also makes a good point on Bloober stating they're not sticking to only remakes (so they don't become a one trick pony), and making an all new original title. Similar to Capcom, they're doing the same thing as well. They remake one title, then make a new entry to a franchise, or a new IP in general and rotate between them. They have multiple teams, so that is how Capcom gets it done. I assume Bloober is going to with splitting people into different teams.

"It's just smart business."

This NoChillTV guy doesn't get it either. That so many new players buy the remakes because much of what made the original a success is still there and quality still sells. But when a publisher produces a new game, there is no prior version of it that informs them if it might be successful or not, so they direct the studio to check off these boxes and make the product so safe that it doesn't interest as many players. They think that they have to do this because of the bloated budgets. They need to deal with the budget first, figure out the audience they want and then specialize the product. The market has been telling them for a while that photorealistic graphics are not that important. I see Metal Gear Solid fans talking about remakes of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for the MSX. *****, those games are never getting remade, or not any time soon, not from Konami as they are now, because imagining them in 3D with the fleshed out story that's desired will take as much creativity and time as making a new game, and the company is so afraid of risking the hundred million dollars that they believe it just HAS to cost. Anyway, remakes make the pubs creatively lazy, allow them to be cowards. No coincidence that the number of remakes exploded as the budgets and development times really shot up.

He gets it. He just doesn't give a shit and points the big hypocrisy and double standards from nostalgia blind haters. The new and younger players, along older players with actual sense, are looking at it from more than one perspective. Not the narrow minded, nor shallow minded, and not the dogmatic perspective either. Once again: see MaxDood, PatStaresAt, or Alex (professional psychologists on the GameSpot video) from the videos I posted.
