No, Biden has been pretty bad since day one. If anything, he shuffled left the last couple of years putting up 'progressive' policies he was not interested in during the election. It's hard to tell, he moves so slow
Oh he's gone way to the right the longer he's been in office. All his leftism was at the start of his term. The original Inflation Reduction Act before it was butchered actually had some decent things in it.

Apparently pollsters have finally discovered that woman might be a big voting block that's likely going to make an impact which translate into higher odds for Harris. That may very well be, but I suspect this will be offset by an increase of young men who somehow forget its their future they're voting for.

This election will likely be considered a focal point in history. I suspect both sides of the isle believe this, and historians are bound to think the same when looking back on this. Even if US democracy survives a Trump presidency, then him unleashing Putin on Europe will likely be the definitive end of the western block. No pressure.

So tomorrow is the big day. Final thoughts

What should happen but won't: Trump getting defeated convincingly and MAGA getting exorcised from the political arena.

What is most likely to happen: Harris winning the vote but the electoral college intervening and forcing Trump on the world because he outperformed her in some specific locations.

What might happen in the optimistic realistic scenario: Harris getting an intensely narrow win and the story ending there.

What might happen in the worst case scenario of the ''optimistic'' scenario: Harris getting an intensely narrow win, but the narrow margins allowing Trump's cronies in the supreme court to intervene and crown him president. More so then a Trump victory this would be the worst scenario. It would be the definitive end of US democracy since it shows winning the election is entirely optional to become president.

All of his Leftism is where Democrats always put their Leftism; they left it on the campaign trail after they talked a big game about all the cool shit they were going to do and then never brought back up again (or they let "The Parliamentarian" stop them, a position that we all knew even existed before they popped up to knock out the $15 minimum wage).

I look forward to a brief feeling of relief tomorrow, regardless of winner, just because I can finally stop hearing people bring up polls and swing states. This election cycle has been going on for 3 fucking years out of a 4 year presidency.

Then I look forward to feelings of dread for the next several months, again regardless of winner.

I look forward to reclaiming r/pics from all the Americans showing off their ballot.

Which is illegal to do so in some states, by the way. Knock it off!

Taking bets. Will Trump win, or will Trump "win"?
I bet 21 dollars on Robinhood. If I win, I get 47 dollars; if I lose, we cease to exist as a democracy, or I make fun of MSNBC for hyping out Trump as a fascist after his four years end.

I posted some evidence that third-party votes draw from Republicans more than Democrats, since nobody else had bothered.

Nobody has provided evidence that anti-genocide third-party voters care so much about making the Democrats lose that they'd be happy supporting other genocide candidates if the third-party wasn't there. That's not the same thing, and flies directly in the face of what the other third-party voters in this very thread have been arguing.
The Rania Khalek tweet I posted indicated that there are Muslims in Dearborn who want Kamala Harris to lose so much (because of Palestine) that they will vote (or have voted) for Trump despite the existence of third party candidates. Rating Trump above rather than equal to Harris is absolutely a thing for some anti-genocide voters.

Biden was never left, didn't campaign as left, didn't start left. He's been this way the whole time

Edit: Do you guys only mean left of Trump here? That, maybe I can understand. Because the last thing I can say about Biden is that he's ever lifted a finger for the left

Trump has already told Bibi to go full invasion if he wins tomorrow. And he wants it done before inauguration

The video in link won't do what YouTube vids do here it seems. Mehdi Hasan and the Veteo team been doing a lot of work countering legacy media geopolitical narratives over ongoing war crimes since they started.

Progressive and pro-ceasefire Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal answers pressing questions from subscribers on tomorrow’s US presidential election, in this Town Hall Q&A.

Still on the fence about tomorrow’s presidential election? Or maybe you’re voting for Jill Stein? A global bystander? Or, are you reluctantly voting for Kamala Harris? Maybe sitting the election out, and grappling with the many feelings of confusion, anger, disappointment, and concern ahead of the US presidential election?

Whatever it may be, have a listen to this compelling conversation with progressive Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, from Washington State, where she took dozens of questions from Zeteo subscribers. It’s the first Town Hall Q&A Zeteo has hosted where our paid subscribers were able to directly ask questions to a sitting member of Congress.

Rep. Jayapal, the Progressive Caucus Chair, who has voted against sending military aid to Israel and has advocated for a ceasefire in Gaza since last October, talked about Kamala Harris’ position on Gaza, why Jayapal and other pro-Palestinian progressives are still endorsing Harris, what kind of coalitions are building in the background (and the threat to them under a Trump presidency), the “Medicare for All” campaign, and much more. If you’ve got 30 minutes, have a watch.

Arab-American and Muslim voters alone do not have the power to change the course of U.S. policy towards Israel,” Jayapal says. “What we need to do is build a coalition with a lot of allies. And if we want to do that, we have to think about who is the person that is going to allow us to do that organizing? Where is the fertile ground going to be? Because there are many of us within the Democratic Party who are pushing for a change in policy. But under a Donald Trump administration, we will not have that opportunity.”

We had the first vote with over 60 Democratic members saying they didn't want to send more money to Israel this year,” she reminded the audience. “That was an incredible vote. We've never had anything like that. We are working towards building sustained power.

She also talked about AIPAC and the pro-Israel lobby (not just their recent wins, but how they’ve lost battles too), the effect Donald Trump will have on organizers, and even what she remembers from being trapped inside Congress on January 6th, 2021 - and what that taught her about this country.
John Oliver works at least. Though won't play in UK without some variant of VPN. The opera browser comes with free VPN toggle that does the job so far.

The only part you're right about is saying he was never left. He did in fact run on a big tent that included listening to the left, the origins of the IRA was left wishlists. That he's an inveterate liar isn't substantial, they all are. But Biden did make more overtures to the left than Hillary ever did, and Hillary came after 8 years of Obama while Biden came after 4 years of Trump.

I'm still loving the "who is going to allow us to organize" line when Chuck Schumer is pushing for a bill to crack down on Palestinian protests. Really differentiating yourself there dems.

Kamala leads nationwide by a record low of +0.8%.
View attachment 12157

Swing states: Kamala leads in Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
She's tied with Trump in Michigan and Pennsylvania. Trump leads in Arizona.

Will be interesting to see the impact of early voting, then again, presumably undecided voter don't vote early. So it theoretically would mostly come down to turnout

You should probably stop inferring significant trends from tweets.

says the guy inferring significant trends from nothing whatsoever
Except the explicit statements of the Stein campaign, and the truckloads of money the Republicans have put into her. A little more substantial than a tweet.
