Thats because people that do that are scum who pretend to care about issues but really only care about feeling a smug sense of superiority over not voting for someone who could win and want to do some bullshit protest vote while we lose the supreme court even more, just like in 2016.
Yeah see, this is the exact kind of thing that I like disarming by voting democrat.
My viewpoints are very similar to his, I just think a protest voice coming from inside the party is more effective.
My smug sense of superiority is intact cause I still am a Bernie supporter. And I still maintain he's have won in 2016 if the dnc didn't rig it for Hilldog.
Also take a moment to analyze that Trump embraced a third party/independent candidate like Bobby, and won. Maybe if Kamala promised Cornell West some sort of spot in her cabinet she'd have done better with that 30% of black people in the Bronx who voted for Trump. Maybe if her VP was the green party lady she'd have done better with the environmentalist hippies.
Oh and on a more fundamental level, take a step back and realize it is democrats who are the sole obstacle to democrat victories. Republicans are a lost cause, burnt paper, it is useless bemoaning them. It is only useful to discuss things that we can do something about. If you don't do things that will get the neutralized ex-voters to start coming out again by appealing to them in new ways there's no chance of victory.
