You're listing Sky News Australia as mainstream media for the United States? Really?

Of the biggest papers in the US, the New York Post is the only one that leans right.

You're really going to compare like Rosanne Barr and Mel Gibson to Taylor Swift and Oprah as equally popular celebrities that endorse presidential candidates. If a celebrity comes out as conservative, they are shamed hence why like all the celebrity Trump endorsements are from celebrities that were already kicked out of Hollywood basically.

I never claimed Trump was a dark horse candidate, I knew Trump was going to win, it was pretty obvious. It's that people don't give a fuck about the mainstream media and they don't have the power/influence that they think they do. That doesn't change the fact that the mainstream media was clearly in Biden/Harris' corner.
Sky News Australia is a wannabe Fox News. While Australia is pretty conservative, they aren't very interested in the anarchistic tendency of Trump. Or Anti-vaxxers. Or Sov Citizens. Etc.
I can't roll my eyes any harder at that. He was already fucking president, nothing fucking happened. A news network not airing a major party candidate's victory speech is completely fucking unacceptable. You're no longer a news network if you do that.

What are you talking about? They edited Harris' "Live" interview. They literally make up stuff that Trump says that he never said. You don't have to make up anything, just report what he said and that's everything you need. Where is this proof that they edited a Trump speech to make him sound better? You're literally gaslighting me at this point.
He did concentration camps. That's even worse than FDR, who only went as far as interment camps

The economy crashed under Trump. All the inflation Biden was 'fixing'... all caused by Trump. He also killed about a half million Americans over his ineptitude dealing with Covid, and his decisions exacerbated the economy.

And we have to go through the same thing again. Australians, from both sides of politics, are buckling up and preparing for a global recession

Not authoritarian fascist stuff to do at all ....

Can you guess how many national emergency orders are currently in effect?
It's 40. The oldest is from Jimmy Carter. Clinton started the trend of presidents declaring double digit amounts of emergencies with 16 of them. Few of them seem even close to as valid as millions of undocumented migrants populating the country, including tens of thousands of violent criminals.

Dem lost because inflation was high and people think that automatically means economy is going to shit (ironically price going down is a better sign that economy is going to shit).
Turns out most folk don't care that much about what macroeconomic indicators look like, when their wages haven't changed and staples cost substantially more they see that as a problem and blame whoever is in power at the time.

Yes, that it linked to inequality. People stop caring about overall wealth if they don't get a piece of it. Just the opposite, reports of record growth and profits will only breed resentment from those who are not thriving.

If the economy “crashed” under Trump it was generally due to the unprecedented virus that surfaced in his last year. Biden’s lower unemployment can be attributed to most people going back to work after being on lockdown for Trump’s last year in office.

Anyways, how the media played its part in turning Rogan from a liberal to MAGA -

One of the least appealing parts of election is the media postmortem.

Which is essentially nothing but a bunch of disparate groups all claiming that the loser would have won the election if they'd adopted that group's policy. Minus any useful quantitative data to defend the point, or credible consideration of how the group's policy would triangulate with any other groups the candidate also needed to win over. Basically, it's a massive, fat load of fucking hot air to fill column inches.

None of them are currently using the army to round up it's own citizens at gunpoint though.

You know, I never thought revolution in this country was possible. Too many of us are too comfortable with how the way things are, an actual revolution for the 99% to fight back against the 1% would never ever go down.

You start fucking with people's Mountain Dew though...

And more seriously, children's Tylenol? Yeah, good luck with that and not getting mobbed by literally anyone who's been kept up all night with a sick kid.

He mostly wants them to use natural dyes, that's not banning the concepts of mountain dew or Tylenol.

Like what?
Like cut social security and medicare, end birth right citizenship, and many more.

The media bias rating is also right leaning.
Again, just using common terminology.

Okay, I will say it right now. The Trump family and Trump himself may be the most dynamic marketing team ever, but there's a bigger story here. And yes, he has horrible policies that are quite outdated.

It's the minoritites who voted for him. What they did was prove against a point I made when I was an idiotic, edgy teenager wrong. Immigrants I assumed were risk-averse, non-dynamic, and non-loyal. They are the opposite. They are some of the most risk-acceptant people ever; they are extremely dynamic and are loyal to an upmost degree in a way I didn't think possible despite what they endure. They are America's ubermensch.

Voting for Trump despite half of the media saying he's a Nazi means you take a risk. Imposing strict immigration control despite being an immigrant yourself means you are hyper selfish but also competent. There are only so many jobs/houses. Dynamicism is usually a function of how well you respond to life's hazing, and immigrants not only travel through jungles, desserts, and Mexicos to do so, and they have to endure racism and othering from people in their own communities. Yet they are still loyal to the US. One guy on TikTok wanted to be the president of a US-led North American Union, not a Mexican-led one. How loyal and ambitious is that?

There are some immigrants I considered undynamic and/or not loyal (they mostly are people who come with radical ideologies who are opposed to multiculturalism and differences of ideas and are not technologically progressive, like the far left at some colleges). (Chinese CCP spies, radical political Islam, Shia Islam radicals, Marxist regressives, tankies, etc.).

If this trend holds and the US has the Democrats get more immigrants and the Republicans oust cartel members and make Hispanic immigrants a part of America vs. a part of Mexican foreign proxies...

Edit: We could, in theory, field a military to take on the rest of the world's elites and colonize the stars.

To be American is to be in the empire of dreams, to be dynamic.

It just keeps getting worse, and I didn't even know that was possible. The new head of CMS, who handles Medicare and Medicaid? Dr. Oz.

Its not going to get old anytime soon. With Trump things can always get worse.

I hope the rush Americans got from sticking it to the ''establishment'' (by way of electing an American aristocrat and empowering America's oligarchs) was worth having to lay in the bed they made for themselves.
