This ex-blizz guy have said some ridiculous bullshit in the past (crap bonus and return-to-office policy, "We should tip the developers"), but this has to be the dumbest, most out of touch, braindead shit I've ever heard.

Hey asshole, if anything, widowmaker should be considered a black widow rip off.

Yeah I saw some of the character designs. Some are very questionable (look at Wolverine), but I can say at the very least it has potential to be a overwatch killer
It might be an overwatch killer, but only because it has assistance from overwatch itself.

But yeah design aren't all that great, although tbf it might be an attempt to make the silhouette more easily identifiable.

If such thing is possible, I am curious to see what happens if they did a collab with capcom, to re-capture the MvC vibe. How would some of the capcom character re-designs would look?

"Ubisoft is headed for privatization and dismantling in 2025.

"With its share price plummeting from $28.19 to $12.30 year-over-year, the company has become an attractive takeover target. Its valuable assets--particularly Rainbow Six Siege and the Assassin's Creed franchise--could be worth more separately than together.

"The upcoming Assassin's Creed: Shadows faces stiff competition from PlayStation's Ghost of Yotei, and recent failures suggest deeper organizational issues beyond individual game performance.

"Ubisoft's development approach remains stubbornly outdated in an era demanding player engagement and community building. Without a fundamental shift in how they develop and maintain games, they risk further alienating both investors and players. The XDefiant shutdown isn't just another failed launch-it's a symptom of a company that insists on catering to a passive audience while failing to recognize the urgency to rethink distribution."
Yeah as much as I would love to see this company burn to the ground, those sliver-tongued execs will always find ways to stay afloat. Besides, if it does happen, it will ruin the lives of many underdogs who are simply doing what they were told.

Also, clown on their Climb-A-Tower style game design all day long, but their games still diversify the offer of games out there. I wouldn't want to miss them in the gaming landscape.

Having said that, the last Ubisoft game I played was Oddyssey last year.

Child of Light was apparently a big hit as parent-child bonding activity... and now I read its Wikipedia article where the director claims the sequel was buried due to Ubisoft's focus on games-as-a-service. Ugh.

Please buy our struggling company, but only on the condition we, the folks who got it in that state, get to stay in charge.

I was 6 years old when windows 98 came out. So the nostagla hit like a brick when I saw this.

Hilarious and fresh take on the genre! Just wish they utilized more icons from back then as enemy sprites

In addition to regularly releasing major new titles each year, Capcom is focusing on re-activating dormant IPs that haven’t had a new title launch recently. The company is working to further enhance corporate value by leveraging its rich library of content, which includes reviving past IPs like the two titles announced above, in order to continuously produce highly efficient, high-quality titles.
Oooh, tantalizing. Darkstalkers? Dino Crisis? Breath of Fire? Viewtiful Joe? Final Fight? Lost Planet? Strider? Powerstone? So many choices.

Depended on how this new Onimusha does I could definitely see Dino Crisis getting another go-around. I mean, dinosaurs are never not popular.

YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! MAKE THEM AAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!

Though the last Strider was 10 years ago. Still a pretty good Metroidvania. If they do make a new one, I want to make it play like Strider 2 (PS1).

…Mega Man? The last major MM game was in 2018. Would love to see new entries, maybe a new game in X, or Legends
