It's not free, it looks and sounds generic as hell, and with no marketing behind it how could it ever hope for an audience? I think people are tired of pvp games tbh. They already have their favorite pvp games in Apex, LoL, CoD, and Fortnite. That new Dying Light game hit with a little delay.
I am no expert on this, but not all V-Tuber come from the same background, or have much lower income than others. I know a few contract or side job V-Tubers like AliciaxLife/Death. She doesn't belong to any company, but when she is not doing that, Alicia is a restaurant owner. Kinkymation is solo too, and her money has mainly been through art commissions and rule34 art works of various IPs. She still does commissions too, and her audience are more than aware of it. Point being: everyone has different circumstances.
Good news: hopefully all of them can either find some place better taking their audience with them, or choose to retire on their own terms, if or when they decide to do or find something better.
