It's unreasonable to expect an adult to check a gun isn't loaded before they point it at anyone else for funsies? I didn't think that was unreasonable but I could be wrong
Last last I checked, one of the tenets of responsible firearm use was you did not point the gun at anyone or anything you did not fully intend to shoot. Not for a joke, not for staging, not for anything. Even if they had checked it and unloaded the rounds, they’re still not using it in a manner that would be considered safe and responsible.

Probably not much different to how *they’ve* been able to suppress the Epstein files, in a time when optics are far much more difficult to control. Just deny it all and then when that fails rely on the ol’ standard of threatening/humiliating/killing/etc. anyone who suggests anything other than the official story I guess. Basically an offshoot of religion to keep people in line, for more extenuating circumstances.

I disagree there, AFAIK, there weren't widespread people challenging the official line in that way that needed to be suppressed. If it gets to that point, the secret is already out in the open, it's just not been confirmed yet. I don't think that was the case with the Titanic at all.
I misspoke, not to mean it literally was challenged like that, but rather had it been that similar tactics would’ve been used to quell it.
Ah, in that case yes, though how successful it'd be I'm not sure. Wouldn't be 100%, but then for most purposes you don't need anything like that amount.
