Yes yes, I'm sure you were born with glass bones and paper skin. In the morning you break your arms before going to your minimum wage job, saving thousands of dollars every month with your can do attitude before breaking your legs in the afternoon. Then once you get to the giant home you've already paid off due to hard work, you go to bed screaming in agony until your heart attacks put you to sleep with a smile on your face knowing that everyone else is just bad at Capitalism but you were able to make it all work even with all your problems and no money thanks to pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps!
It's just a shame that about
half of Americans are just so bad at Capitalism that they can't even survive a $500 emergency. Clearly this a THEM problem and not an AMERICA problem!
Buddy, I do have a mental illness, ADHD, and likely anxiety. Do you dispute that? My dad did get treated at the James Cancer Hospital in OSU, and my mom does have infections related to when she gave birth to me, since she grew up before the 1990s when China started getting rich. It's also likely that the abortion rings they put in my mom after she birthed me had an effect.
Despite this, I went to OSU, got a 3.4 GPA, got three degrees (one associate's, two bachelor's degrees), didn't ask for extra time on tests since the paperwork was too tiring, and my mind wasn't as stable back then. Despite this, I still got plenty of As, have 58K(55K in regular plus 2K Roth IRA) in my Robinhood account, and 7.8 K in other retirement accounts (Schwab, Ally Bank), and a 10K Chase savings. I made around 40K without the stocks, and 50K with them, most of it on a high-stakes active trade buy low sell high on FIG. My house, which I helped my parents purchase, went from $330K to around $500K bought in December of 2020 in Columbus, Ohio, near the traffic-heavy 23 in Delaware, Ohio.
I spent lots of money on Costco drinks and food, video games, books, and computer-related stuff, and also some Patreon-like subs for Skyrim mods, and just ChatGPT 20-dollar sub. But what sets me apart.
I haven't taken a vacation since 2014, not even to a nearby city. I buy used computers and look for SSD deals. I use Steam sales unless it's like Battlefield 6, where it will get outdated by the time it hits a sale. I don't drink Starbucks every day or any day or even the Costco bulk Starbucks; in fact, I don't even need to drink coffee(also, it makes me jittery). I buy food in bulk, which is proven to save money, but it gets boring eating the same thing every day. I also use Z-library.sk for most books. I don't use Crunchyroll, I use Reddit. I don't subscribe to Disney+ Plus unless they have The Mandalorian or a show I like on. I don't pay for Discord or Reddit. I yay in bulk/yearly for Nexus Mods, a fantastic UK mod company, thank the British.
Is this fun? No, it's not fun. It goes against my ADHD and my approach to things, but I have saved money, and despite earning $16.40 an hour and working 32-hour days, I still have time to build skills, save money, plus pay the bills. And I have ADHD combined and oftentimes lots of depression to the point where it makes me have flashes of suicide in my head because I don't have a full-time job that fulfills my dream(In the US military or as a researcher), so what's everyone else's excuse for not practicing, say Python Pandas, Pytorch, or even Power BI?
Is Trump a Machiavellian jerk, yes; is Stephen Miller lashing out against Hispanics because of his abuse from other high schoolers at a public high school, yes; could he not have, yes. But if you can't change government policy since you're not an influential figure, you basically have to deal with it. What have you guys done with your lives? You guys aren't mentally ill, I think. You guys don't have ADHD, I think.
And you know what's funny, I am the one who makes the least out of my extended family, everyone in my cousins makes more than me or has a more marketable degree than me. All of my uncles, save for one, make more than my dad and mom.
And for those who question my morality, I would one hundred percent see my house value decrease if there were universal healthcare, housing, and income because I am a civic nationalist, and I would one hundred percent not care if my food prices went up by 25% if it meant no one would ever suffer a famine ever again in the world provided the aid was marked with US flags, and I would one hundred percent not care if I pay more in property taxes if that meant we had universal desalination, and better nuclear technology that gets universalized in the world as long as it meant the US made it with of course French help.
And I have every reason to hate America, I was discriminated against in high school, middle school, and elementary school for my gender, race, nationality, head size, and height( I am 5'6"). I didn't get the best grades because no one told me until recently that I had ADHD, and I didn't get my medication I needed until it was too late. I should be the first person to want to wage war on everyone upper-middle class and richer, given how poorly my school's students treated me oftentimes. There was that one time where I was campaigning for Dennis Kunich, and a school bus full of Columbus City School students yelled likely bad stuff in my direction. I was taken advantage of by a progressive activist group to canvass in areas where they wouldn't even open the door for me to talk to them, and I did this for free. I have never gotten hired at any white-collar position for an S&P500 company, unless you count my 2 weeks at Walmart, where I stopped working there because I would have to climb a ladder, and if I fall, it's game over. My first job was a trap where I made $21.50 an hour when people near me were making a lot more with the same degree.
Yet despite this, I still believe in America, I still believe in enlightenment values, and utilitarianism. I could have worked for APAC, given that I knew multiple Jewish American leaders at OSU, watched multiple 6-day, 1948, and Yom Kippur War documentaries, and they would have accepted me since I was in the college Democrats at OSU, run by multiple people, including multiple Jewish student leaders. Instead, I chose to work in an education company, a non-profit for DV victims. I am not Israeli, and I believe the US should have a more even-handed approach to the Middle East that doesn't kill both of our countries' honor. I was even offered to join the Federalist Society since I was an Alexander Hamilton Society member if I did a law degree at OSU or another school. I declined due to policy disagreements I had with them, despite taking multiple classes with someone who defends Trump's foreign policy, and part of which I agree with, since Obama destroyed the F-22 program, let the US Navy shipbuilding decline, etc.
