Well, he won the popular vote, that's not quite the same as 50%+ of the country voting for him, and...a candidate that over 50% of the country voted
Oh. Um, nevermind then.Trump is not far right

Over 50% of the vote and probably over half the country if everyone voted, it is a pretty big sample size.Well, he won the popular vote, that's not quite the same as 50%+ of the country voting for him, and...

hmm, yes, a country built with stolen labor and founded on other people's land. couldn't possibly have a far right relatively popular candidate.Over 50% of the vote and probably over half the country if everyone voted, it is a pretty big sample size.
Y'all don't know what far right is.
Funny he mentions all of that....![]()
Stop yapping and do it.

For fun I can cherry pick data too. You'll find that comparing red state with blue states isn't really in red state's favor. But that's would miss the point. Because like I said its not even about policies theoretically being effective or not. Its about policies being in place to deliberately do people harm, and to move away from the thriving democratic world and towards hellholes like Russia. Both parties are for making the rich more prosperous.
If right policies don't make things better then why have Houston rent prices gone done and New York City rent prices gone up? Or why don't you look at what happened to rent in Minneapolis and St Paul; one city did left policies and one city did right policies and the city that did right policies made housing more affordable. Housing, if you didn't know, is pretty fucking important to people.
Mamdani's policies would be very harmful to the people that need the most help.
Trump literally hired people that are for actually fixing the medical system. When did the democrats do that? The republicans ran a candidate that the public actually voted for to run for president, the democrats didn't. The democrats removed people from ballots, the republicans didn't.
The only way the US will "get" Greenland is if Greenland wants that.
2 cities right next to each other in the same state is comparing blue states and red states? For fun I can cherry pick data too. I also didn't say ''right wing policies don't make things better''. I said FAR right policies don't make things better. Successful right wing governments exist. Successful far right governments do not. Your statement isn't useful because it operates under the assumption MAGA is just right wing. Its not. Its much farther to the right than the right. Far right one might even say.
Trump being far right isn't hyperbole. Its just a fact of life.2 cities right next to each other in the same state is comparing blue states and red states?
You have to stop with hyperbole and exaggerations, the current US administration is not far right. Just like the narrative that the election was to "save democracy!!!" was bullshit and everyone knew it, and that's why it was the democrats least effective message. You are impossible to actually have a discussion with, watch Pluribus and learn something from it.
Funny how that you won't comment on how Minneapolis failed with lowering rent and St Paul did lower rent. Left policies don't work in lowering rent.Trump being far right isn't hyperbole. Its just a fact of life.
Who does he resemble more? Rutte or Wilders? Merkel or Weidel? David Cameron or Farage? Macron or Le Pen?
In every comparison Trump has more in common with the far right candidate than the normal right wing ones. Because he and the freaks he surround himself with are not right wing. They're far right.
Bush and Romney were right wing. Trump is righter than that. Far more to the right than that. Far right one might even say.
Because that wasn't the conversation we were having. Americans lost the chance to have that conversation when the far right clawed its way to power. Nothing funny or unfunny about it. Its just me staying on topic. Though I did recall saying you were cherry picking and that comparing red states and blue states is rarely in the former one's favor.Funny how that you won't comment on how Minneapolis failed with lowering rent and St Paul did lower rent. Or that you don't know. In general its always confusing when Trump shares all his traits with every other far right loon but that somehow we're expected that he's the only one of that bunch who's not far right.Trump is not far right... The fact you say Trump is a fascist proves you don't know what words mean.
You said Joe Rogan shouldn't be saying things (which is when I first replied) but you don't say the same about those endorsing far left candidates like say Mamdani. If say Mamdani pushes through everything he would like to change in NYC, the people would be far worse off than if say Trump was major of NYC. This is why people don't vote democratic because they know the alternative far left is worse. Then, I talked about something like rent prices on how right policy there works and left policy doesn't. Housing costs are one of the most important things to people (food, water, shelter), and you can't see why they wouldn't vote for people that make housing even harder to attain? The hilarious thing is that the democratic platform states they are for affordable housing, yet they do everything to make it less affordable. You just throw such people under the bus and don't even see them as people or having valid opinions. This is why the democrats lose because all they do is tell people how bad they are vs actually talking to them about any issue. Watch Pluribus, that is literally what the show is about.Because that wasn't the conversation we were having. Americans lost the chance to have that conversation when the far right clawed its way to power. Nothing funny or unfunny about it. Its just me staying on topic. If Olaf Sholtz and Frans Timmermans are both politicians promoting social democrat policies and have typically the same stances then no one would take offence if we call both of them social democrats. If Cameron and Rutte are both politicians promoting right wing liberalism and have the same stances then no one would be offended if we call them liberals. But somehow when Trump shares every trait with a far right politician we are supposed to pretend that only one of those is far right, and the one that resembles him in literally every way is just your wholesome friendly neighborhood conservative?
That's weird.
You seem to get annoyed when Trump gets called far right, but you don't seem to have a problem with calling the center right democrats as ''far left''. Why is that? Even Mamdani has more in common with Scandinavia than he does with Stalin. You said Joe Rogan shouldn't be saying things (which is when I first replied) but you don't say the same about those endorsing far left candidates like say Mamdani. If say Mamdani pushes through everything he would like to change in NYC, the people would be far worse off than if say Trump was major of NYC. I'd not not really deny that. Especially after the coup attempt Trump voters don't have valid opinions. If they think Europe should be replaced with Russia as America's ally and that Europe should be done harm then their opinions aren't valid. Even if they're just fine with it rather than actively craving it their opinions aren't valid. If they think democracy should be replaced with Trump their opinions aren't valid. If they approve of ICE occupying a blue state and behaving like animals their opinions are not valid. If they celebrate Trump for years of misrule, a coup and years of corruption then their opinions indeed aren't valid. At that point malice or supreme idiocy are the only two explanations left to explain their actions. Donald Trump is not a legitimate force in politics and neither is the far right as a whole. You just throw such people under the bus and don't even see them as people or having valid opinions. This is why the democrats lose because all they do is tell people how bad they are vs actually talking to them about any issue. Watch Pluribus, that is literally what the show is about.
Such as?The hilarious thing is that the democratic platform states they are for affordable housing, yet they do everything to make it less affordable.
That's how the United States still is. You've done nothing to refute the point. A candidate being popular in the United States does not mean they are not far right.Do ya'll ever get tired of repeating the same virtue signalling over and over again. Additionally, it is not actually trivial to install Machado. Trump may claim to run Venezuela or be its real interim president, but even he knows that this is not actually true.Still, Trump is nothing if not petty, so I might not make difference for the quisling.

" At the 67 CE Olympics Nero was awarded seven crowns, in the chariot race; chariot race for 10 horses; chariot race for foals; competition for heralds; competition for tragedy; competition for lyre-playing; and in an unknown event. Several of the events were made expressly for him and were never held again. In one chariot race, he drove the chariot, fell out of it, and did not finish the race, but was still declared the victor."Ah, good, Trump has received the prize it so desperately deserves. Well, not really, but it can maybe pretend it did, and that's the same thing.![]()
