It better have a jump button. Ciri cannot be grounded like that. Also, a centered, elevated camera with at least three distance points.

Plus the character model itself in that suit looks fucking stupid. Maybe it’ll end up on PC someday for modders to fix everything that will probably suck about it.

Okay, I misremembered, but here's Gaia, narrator from the first game, telling a story to Kratos, presented to the player as a flashback, and that is impossible in the 2018 game because of the gimmick of the single camera shot. All it has is talking, which naturally grows tiresome and is at the expense of the music. I like how you think latching onto one thing with a little insult negates the whole argument.

Your argument was that taking the narrator out was bad when the narrator was already taken out in GoW2. And the only reason the narrator was even in the first game was because Kratos had very few people to talk to and the game had to get some plot points across somehow. The narration wasn't even that good, it was primarily Linda Hunt's voice that made it memorable. Same with Gaia in GoW2, where 80% of the dialoge was her repeating herself.

And yes, the no-cut camera is overplayed now and kindly needs to step back. You'll hear no argument from me there. It worked for GoW '18 because of the road movie vibe it was going for, but it seriously hampered Ragnarok, and it'll likely restrict the scope of the world in God of War: Laufey.

And Dave Jaffe is a pathetic little cretin.
