To be fair, when I say "glazing", I don't mean people treating her as flawed, but ultimately more a product of stress/depression than anything else. It's more of how I see discourse about how, for example, David (I think I got that right, been a while, some of the character names get jumbled in my head) is a terrible stepfather for daring to be upset about her smoking a joint in her room against his rules, and saying he was an abusive stepfather based on scenes like that.

Most people use that example because he slaps Chloe (depending on player choices) rather than simply being angry about the weed; there is much firmer ground to stand on for that opinion by pointing out the covert surveillance equipment he installed in the house without consulting Joyce. Which wasn't even something he did because he's totally unhinged or a dangerous abuser but because he's (correctly) assumed that Chloe stole one of his guns.

Makes me think of Yahtzee. In a recent vid about why he doesn't hate James bond he brings up Buffy from Buffy the vampire slayer as one of the protagonists he hates because they are "smug bellends". Despite the fact that there really isn't much quippy in Buffy and she regularly gets beaten up even by cannon fodder vampires. So it really sounds like hes only mentioning her since he doesn't like the Joss Weeden alleged writing style.

It is really hard to trust any 3rd party controllers. Reading a few reviews and a couple of them already said that analog sticks aren't quite up to snuff.
Anything with moving parts wears out. Actually hooked up a friend's SNES a couple weeks back and the issue in playing it was the controllers, she was able to sell the console and games for over $800 at Disc Replay though.
I noticed and even I think Yahtzee is full of shit on Buffy. I'm not even a Buffy fan. I don't remember a lot but I remember more than enough that she wasn't the quippiest character ever, and she could lose some fights.
I have not forgotten, hence why I had the quotations. Which is ironic when those same chuds won't say that to women who use fan service or dress skimpy, but still have independent thought. Or they they assume, because the character is Japanese, Asian, or some anime girl that they're automatically subservient.
Are first party controllers trustworthy? None of then have hall effect or TMR, which are standard in third party controllers. (But the Defender has potentiometer sticks, sadly.) I found it somewhat difficult to aim in Metal Gear Solid 3, but I don't know if it was the Defender, the emulator or the program I used to make the pressure sensitive buttons work in the emulator.
That's because you don't have to worry about the grind, nor puzzles, and can you just get straight to the point. I still prefer most classic style brawlers over most single player stylish action games.
