Is it the Whedon-esque writing you refer to? My impression via secondhand exposure was that that was what people had a problem with in regards to Marvel.

My problem is I’ve seen too many of them, and they always felt the same tonally. Family-friendly super hero fare with light drama and comical banter interspersed with bombastic action sequences were fun for a while but the appeal was lost on me even before the whole End Game saga. The writing was beside the point, as it’s mostly expected with comic adaptations.
However, and I know it will risk sounding cliche here, but Nolan’s Batman trilogy was better at bending the comic book material into something that felt somewhat original than any of the main Marvel films. The mini series Wanda-Vision was ironically one of the exceptions IMO.
Look, as much as I love the Dark Knight Trilogy, Batman Begins drags and was way too long for its own good, and has shitty hand to hand fight scenes even Nolan himself admits he did badly. Ninja (2009) feels like a better Batman origin story by pacing standards at least. That said, I am good with most superhero media doing their own thing, or at the very least be entertaining and having fun. I don't need a constant twisting of comic book pathos, nor what the MCU is doing either. That's why I love Spider-Verse (soon to be a trilogy), Venom Trilogy, and Deadpool Trilogy so much. They do their own thing, have their own defined looks, and all do it well. Spider-Verse is pretty much the most comic book film ever made, and does not stick with a strict formula at all, while twisting a few things, respects its audience and why we love Spider-Man/Woman/Person. Whoever dons the mask in whatever dimension and timeline. Which is why Miles (still the main focus and character of these), and the ensemble cast, works so well. Even Venom, with its supposed flaws (really only the first film), has a fun buddy dynamic going on that gets better in each film.
Daredevil Born Again says hello too. Also, you have non-Marvel adaptions like The Boys and Invincible doing their own things, and switching it up, or improving on what the source material lacked or is completely bad at. I admit, I don't care much for the MCU anymore, aside from the Netflix shows getting sequels and Shang-Chi. Thankfully, other superhero media picked up the slack. Thank God for variety. We also got The Batman and Penguin tv spin-off. Both that have dark noir and gangster look calling back to the Batman comics stories from the 1970s and early 80s. We got other shit out there, so people are not hurting for options. The Sonic movies and Monsterverse got more going on with a less confusing continuity. Though we're getting way off topic. Point being, stop worrying over projectional dumb shit, and just have fun, or bother with something else.

The game looks good, but really WB/WB Games? You could not have come up with a better name? Had you said Justice League Tag Team Fighters, I would be more than okay with the name.
Isn't more likely that the event was named after the game? The event isn't even a year old yet. Also the URL to sign up for the game reads like "dicko".

Now, given how Bsky is one of the two social media platforms that I hate the most, I decided to do some digging on where exactly Mr. Piscatella got this number.
First off, it should be noted that he is the current exect of the analyical platform that he is sourcing. He is also used to be at senior-level position at both Activsion and Warner Bros. Games.
That alone already should set some alarms.
But I decided to move forward with this research. And while Circana doesn't seem to have publicly-available report, I did find something close at alinea analyics:

The top 7 playstation game sales as of July, collectively sold around 2.93M units of physical copies.
Now aside from my hopefully-correctly-calculated-numbers, It's kinda ridiculous to think that a lot of games can sell more than 1M copies within a year; Those that do have huge number of copies are rare exceptions.
I also believe it has been historically proven digital-to-physical copies sold have always been between 70-30 or 80-20
I really am unsure what was the point of this bsky post; If he wanted engagement, I feel reporting sales numbers would've gotten so much more attention; He is still giving more ammunition to Sony to justify going digital--only, but sales numbers would've made a better argument

For the historic context, during the Imjin War of 1592–1598, the Japanese Empire was about to engulf the entirety of the Korean Peninsula. Admiral Yi managed to cut off their supply route and wipe out their naval forces, by coordinating both the Joseon and Ming Navy (the commanders from Ming all had massive respect for the guy). The dude literally fought to his last breath, where he died in the final battle that forced the little-remaining Japanese Forces to retreat
And the other guy, Toyotomi Hideyoshi. just happens to be the one who unified Japan, and the one who started the Imjin War in the first place.
So we might see so many Joseon vs Japan battles from the community in the future

Scumhead is a dev who is great at making strange fascinating worlds so I am really looking forward to seeing more. Mohrta, Scumheads last game was fantastic and strange and wonderful so I have high hopes and so far, none of Scumheads games have disappointed.

Well they walked back its major feature a few months ago, consensus seems to be that its okay now (but maybe wait for 8).
The duality of Xbox, I swear to god.
I mean objectively speaking this is a great news, because I would love to play some more Xbox classic games that are not available on PC. God, I would kill to play Star Wars Episode 3 The Video Game again.
