These two babies primarily. I've legit waited to play both of them upwards of 4 years now so it feels really exciting to finally get my hands on them. They're also coming something like a month and a half apart from eachother, all the planets have aligned haha.

Oh and I liked that Kena game from the ps5 event which I see mentioned up in the OP but it looks just too much like a ripoff okami with inauthentic generic asian spiritualism. I'd rather just replay okami instead.

I really hope Cyberpunk 2077 and Shadow Warrior 3 are good, but I have reservations about both.

I guess I'm excited for Elden Ring, but of course we barely have any info on that and no release date so...nothing to actually be excited about.

I guess Spiderman as well, but I have no idea when I'm actually going to get a PS5.

Hollow Knight: Silksong
Spiritfarer(If it can deliver on it's premise, that is). Is it wierd that I'm looking this forward to a game mostly on "Well, it might be like stardew valley but carrying dead animals to the afterlife rather then farming"?

I want say Elden Ring, but we don't really know anything about it. FROM has a pretty good track record so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt here that it will likely be very good, whatever it is.

I wouldn't say I was genuinely hyped, but I am certainly interested in CP2077. CP2020 was my version of DnD, so having a computer game version of it is too tempting, even if it won't be able to capture the PnP aspect.

Also this, looks like 40K vermintide will be a thing. Even if it really isn't the type of game I play, it'll be getting a buy I imagine

Honestly, none. I'm interested in plenty games, but my situation in life for the past few years hasn't allowed me to keep up with all the latest releases. I play games years after they're released, and only in short bursts when I have free time.

Man I miss actively playing games... such simpler, less stressful times.

So, is genuine hype a requirement? Cuz I think hype is mostly a bad thing that benefits no one except a bunch of greedy shitheel publishers and the whole “I must not hype. Hype is the mind-killer. Hype is the little-death..." and so on thing. But fuck it, I'm a jaded mofo and also pretty drunk rn, so here's some games I have a 'middling hope won't make me regret the purchase' for:

• Hollow Knight Silksong
• Shin Megami Tensei V
• Shin Megami Tensei III remastered
• Vampire The Masquerade 2
• Metroid Prime 4
• Gamedec
• Cyberpunk 2077

I'd include Vampire, Metroid, and Cyberpunk on my list but:
I need to see more of Vampire.
A bit unsure about Cyberpunk
And Nintendo has yet to even showcase Metroid Prime 4 at all that its not worth it unless they show off at the very least a cinematic trailer.

The more I see/hear about Cyberpunk the more I think its going to fall flat. They're promising so much, and the fans expect even more. And it just looks like a typical FPS with RPG mechanics, like Bioshock or Dishonored.
I mean people really think customizable genitals will A. Be a thing, B. Be detailed beyond Small/Medium/Large and C. actually go into gameplay at some point.
I can see this game getting a lot of "7/10, its Okay" reviews.

Well, I mean, Saints Row had a slider that changed a males Penis and a Females Boob size(I believe it was the "Sex Appeal" Slider) and that was like a decade ago at this point. It's not what people talk about when the series comes up in conversation.

I expect Cyberpunk will be fun and well polished. I'm not expecting it to set the gaming world on fire by any means. I'm sure I'll pick it up at some point and be fairly happy with it.

SR did a pretty good job of not using pronouns to refer to the PC, always using "The Boss" and "The President". Cyberpunk 2077 and Vampire the Masquerade 2. Horizon Zero Dawn doesn’t count cos I had that on PS4 beforehand.

Basically this for me too. Maybe the Avengers game will be good, but once Cyberpunk hits 2020 is over and it'll be time to deal with top and bottom GOTY lists. IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised if that got modded in, but I have a feeling it wont be in the base game. Then again, I would have said the same thing about a dick slider and the distance they are going with pronouns so maybe it will be.

I've always been curious in games like monster hunter, that are online, do other people see the Big Boobied One? Or is that only something displayed for yourself?
