So as an Non American here.
Trump:
Fairly inept in terms of political maneuvering
Based on body language experts he at least believes what he says is true even if it's not accurate all the time.
Fairly Egotistical.
Is at least trying to expand his knowledge. Believe it or not the stupid shit he said about light cleaning inside a person and injecting a dis-infectant like thing were based loosely upon Scientific ideas about at the time and yeh in laymans terms what Trump said would be a layman interpretation of the stuff.
He shut north Korea up.
He got his border wall and the earth didn't split in two killing everything in the area.
He won big off the riots. Remember 1 burned down business in a democrat stronghold is now 1 less democrat voter and possible 1 more Trump voter.
Those who got fed up of the Riots will turn to Trump or away from the Democrats.
Incumbent advantage.
Shut North Korea up for a while at least.
Has somehow come into this election cycle with more energy than even his last one.
Biden:
He was known for gaffs as a VP pick so you think Trump will cause an international incident then Joe is probably more likely to. Trump so far has survived 4 years and not caused a major international incident.
In his prime or even 4 years ago he could have done it but now he looks tired and honestly ill. He looks like some-one who need a rest not some-one who needs the most Stressful job in the USA for 4 years.
It seems likely he'll be more of a puppet president with Harris being the one pulling the strings most behind the scenes.
The concern that he doesn't make it and Harris does take over, I mean you think Trump is a Fascist? Harris is even more hardline on law and order and locking people up possibly to a scary degree which will drive off support from the left and the right. The left will walk away because she's very pro cop.
Biden's record on trusting China
Biden seems to be giving press conferences and tightly controlled stuff vs Trump seemingly getting out there doing rallies etc (yes it's a pandemic but Trump still going out to the people does give a good image of caring).
The unfortunate support for the protests which turned into riots will cause harm to democrats and the U-turn on that will alienate the protestors.
The Democrats blocking the Pandemic bailout package isn't a good look and Trump being able to push the money out to people via executive order (which he's being sued for) will drive people away from the Democats.
Overall
It will be close but Trump will win it based on the electoral college vote.
Biden will just edge out the Popular vote
Riots will happen (I mean Trump winning before saw riots and people have been rioting anyway for a while so it'll happen again).
Biden will concede because he's not a fool and even not clear headed he'll see a way out of this show and take it.
Harris will try to contest the election results personally.
Unless the Senate changes majorly there will be a 2nd attempt to impeach Trump based on something he said around this election cycle, it will fail.
Trump 2020 is not quite the naive fool looking to lose to launch his TV network so this is going to be a closer election just due to that.
I see Trump maybe stepping down at the 2-3 year mark with Pence taking over for the last bit and the VP who Pence picks to fill in will be the next Republican contender.
Future generations are going to make so many books, movies, and games out of this time period. They will regard this as the 2nd dark age.
Will they?
Will they really?
Or will it be game like State of Emergency just rebelling against the idea of Trump not what happened?
