The auditorium was empty. No one knew we were in there I had the keys to both the locked doors you had to go through to get the the catwalk. I was supposed to be doing inventory for the prop room at the time it happened. I was such a good student they gave me KEYS to the school
I was one of those kids who didn't have to study as much and still made better grades than most, I usually remembered everything the first time I read it. The people that tell kids that "the other kid made better grades because they studied harder" lie. The truth is that some kids don't have to study at all and they make better grades than the kid who works their ass off to barely pass. The kids who make the best grades usually don't work nearly as hard as those who bust their arse to not even get by. Hard work, effort usually has very little to do with any of it. People hate hearing that their efforts are futile, but the way the system is designed is it usually rewards those who everything comes easy to and just tortures everyone else.
When I hear people say things like " everyone can't be a winner or it removes the incentive to work hard" they don't know what they are talking about. It is just a system designed to destroy some kids self esteem for trying their best while rewarding others who didn't even have to try. They should work harder to build up kids self esteem and stop fawning over accomplishments from people who don't even care about winning in the first place. That is all the current system is designed to do.
