Yeah, I saw it way back when also, but they did a tour for it a few years ago and you could see it in theaters again, it was pretty awesome.
Yeah I didn't hear about that until well after the fact, when I came across that video by Dan where he was promoting it, and doing his cover.

A Hermit's Cave
My wife getting grumpy whenever I reply to a question with a non-committal "冇所謂" -_-

Edit - tried sticking that in Google translate, did as well as I expected(!)

I have done that once in my whole life (I had reasons, but I could still really have dealt with it) and the guilt still haunts me today.
That you recall the singular time you've ever done it and regret it, you are forgiven; the good guys get a pass every now and again. That was for the habitual transgressors, the "Karens," those that under tip and use speaker phone in public, THOSE assholes.

My girlfriend's brat-ass, 16-year-old son asked for an Xbox Series X for Christmas a week after launch of the system. His dad (not in the loop on how new console launches work) was just gonna "pick one up'' for him. I explained that those consoles were NOT going to be readily available for months, and if he did manage to find one, he'd be paying scalpers' prices. After a few failed attempts, he resigned to the fact it'd have to be a 2021 gift...

Fast forward to today: we bought her son's dad a Keurig machine. I wrapped it and placed it under the tree. Her son walks by, sees the newly wrapped gift and exclaims, "Oh, I know what THAT is!!" followed by a wringing of the hands and a fist pump. "Why is he so excited about a coffee maker for his dad which he knows nothing about," I asked myself. Then it hit me: the box is roughly the size of the Xbox he THINKS he's getting in a couple of days.

I don't like the holidays; they're expensive, inconvenient and shallow. But I DO love the look of a disappointment on a spoiled child's face, and I am VERY excited to see this one in particular, hence, in the spirit of the thread, it made me smile, not unlike this:

My wife would have the same smile when I tell her this story! (I'm a Jew married to a Protestant that favors the Grinch over all other Xmas characters).

I have actually done something remarkably similar in the first Nioh game. While it wasn't the final boss and he wasn't at 1hp, I went back to the first human boss, one who had killed me dozens of times, on the easiest difficulty when I was hideously overpowered (around level 540 when the 'recommended' level was under 50) and defeated him with a single blow from his own special attack. And I did that purely out of spite.
