Poll: What do you look for when buying a novel?

I tend to stick to series/ authors I know, but if a friend recommends it (which isn't very often) I usually give it a shot.

    Mortal Kombat: Kool, or Krap?

Great review. I'm not a huge fan of fighting games, but I decided to give this a shot, and I'm having a blast with it.

    Mount and Blade: Warband!

I love it. I spent about 6 or 7 hours playing yesterday, as I hadn't played in a while, and playing it again reminded me of how great it was. It's an easy game to get lost in, when the map textures aren't screwing up.

I listen to the dialogue on the first play through, but after that I skim through the subtitles.

Games you've been meaning to play or replay?

I've been trying to play System Shock. Unfortunately, even with a multitude of guides, I still can't quite get it to work right in DOSBox. It will run, but the save function doesn't seem to work. I've also been meaning to beat Knights of the Old Republic, but Manaan is so boring.

    Poll: Best FPS ever?

My personal favorite is Resistance: Fall of Man. I thought the game was fantastic, and I eagerly await the third.

    Favorite SNES game

Of the 5 or 6 I've played, I'd say Donkey Kong Country 2.

    Essential PC Games

If you can run DOSBox, System Shock is fantastic. I haven't played the second, so I can't speak for it, but I've heard it's good and doesn't require DOSBox to play.

What's your favorite Nintedno 64 game?

    I haven't played a ton a Nintendo 64 games (I grew up with a Playstation) but of the 5 or 6 I own, I really love Quake 2.

    Poll: Best Evil A.I.

AM is my favorite. I haven't played the game, but I love the short story. I would love to play the game, but I suck at running DOSBox.
