Reminds me of the gothic series. Being able to travel everywhere but being held back by the local wildlife. Getting your ass handed to you to come back later with more dudes or higher level/gear/experience -"I'm back baby" I died to the wisps. Came back later and beat them 5 mins ago. Feels...
It's not out yet, for me atleast.
The PC Gamer Review is out though, giving it a 92/100

seems quite good
it releases on the 26th
Has anyone preordered it? How's your hype-level? Has anyone looked into previews? Hopes for the game? Fears? Expectations?
As someone who regularly replays Baldur's Gate and similar titles I'm so excited for a new isometric groupRPG with a deep story.
And also...
There was this game "HInterlands" that had everything you're asking for.
Wasnt well-executed though, sadly. Been looking for pretty much the same for a long time
You slide terrain 80 % of the time. That's it. It's not only tedious the mechanics behind it make it nearly unbearable.
The other 20 % you spend waiting or clicking bubbles and houses to "harvest faith" / to get one of your little fuckers to spawn.
I'd barely call it a game at the current state.
There's Buttons on the back, right? I don't see me steering/looking around with the touch pads AND interacting/shooting/whatever with those front buttons
Your points are mine as well.
+ there isn't much to do at the moment.
Just feels like Black and White with a looooot less features
This still has a helluva long road ahead of it to become a good game
Outposts reduce the chance of "OMG save me"- missions
I don't think companions ever use guns. And that's kinda fine since the noise would attract new zombies, which can be bad in a multitude of situations.
Doing a lot of supply runs and a rescue mission here and there keep morale high enough...
Yeah, get it at a later date.
I went back to Shogun 2 because the game doesn't offer any challenges.
The AI mistakes on the campaign map and on the battlefield make the game disgustingly easy
