    Your top 6 pokemon

Well, this is going to be hard. Putting them order is impossible, as my favorites change so often. Roggenrolla- I just started my first playthrough of White (Yep. Right when X and Y are here.) This ************ is the stony wrath of God. Great attacks? Check. Can tank phsical hits like a...

    Social lives in college/uni

Oi vey, I need a good vent and possibly some good advice to go with it. Pull up a metaphorical chair (you're already using a real one) and try to give me what help you can. I typically don't make these kinds of threads, purely becuse it's difficult to assess one's problems unless you know them...

    On the Sega Genesis

Ok, guys, I need you to help me out. I started gaming in the tail-end of the N64 lifespan, so I wouldn't know this. The Genesis/SNES generation is considered by-and-large to be the first console war, however, I hear very often about the killer line-up the SNES had, ie: Super Mario World, Super...

This track alone makes me wish I played X as a kid.

That last track is awesome. Reminds me a lot of something that would play in Cave Story, only sped up.

Top 10 Sonic The Hedgehog Music

I haven't played enough Sonic to make a concise top 10, and Chemical Plant Zone has already been posted, so I'll just leave this thread with Sonic 1's Spring Yard Zone.

    Favorite Megaman Music

Why, yes, I am copying that Sonic thread. The Blue Bomber and his many incarnations have produced an awful lot of iconic tunes since his NES days, and I'm sure you have a few you'd like to share. Anyway, I'm going to post a few songs I like from the Battle Network days, as that was my...

    Is pokemon this expensive everywhere?

I was just browsing some used game stores in NYC today, and was astonished that Pokemon Gold and Silver were going for $55 a pop. They had some really fair prices, too, so I guess that's just market value. The real kicker is that Crystal was on sale for $10 cheaper in both stores.

New Smash Bros won't have story or cutscenes because of... the internet

Their excuse is rubbish, but I'm glad the next Smash won't have a story mode. Sakurai could put those development resources to better use anyway.

    The Desktop Thread.

I apreciate the help, but that shortcut doesn't work on my computer... :( Here are some of my desktop backgrounds anyway.I've got every Johto Gym Leader and a few pics of Mega Man circa Battle Network, among other things. Most of my backgrounds were made by one guy, so having a pervasive art...

Poll: Best game Rareware ever made.

That comment is made all the better thanks to your awe-struck Shrek avatar. Yeah, in hindsight, Batletoads should have replaced DK64 in the poll.

    Most Underrated Weapon in Gaming

Missing with a charge shot isn't too hard considering that fully-charged bursts homed in on targets and released an AOE blast on impact. It as pretty noob. The worst was in Halo 2 and 3 when you could wield a Plasma Pistol in one hand and a Magnum in the other. You didn't even need to take...

Poll: Best game Rareware ever made.

Personally, I never was too into Rare. Never realized how prolific they were until I started going on message boreds. I played halfway through the original DKC, beat DKC3, and played through most of DK64. That's about it. However, squabbling and nostalgizing (that's a word now) about their...
