    Let's talk about Fullmetal Alchemist

If I'm not mistaken, the work you are looking for is "trasmutation", and I know of a few video games that take the concept and expand upon it, (Diablo II's horadric cube transmutes, World of Warcraft Alchemy -- to a lesser extent well, unless you are a transmutation expert..) But, back to the...

Superb CoD: Black Ops Ad Celebrates Your Inner Soldier

While although I'm not quite sure I'm going to bother with Black Ops, as I haven't been a fan of Call of Duty Series or Activision's "We know what you need" attitude (and because I think Bobby Kotick is evil personified). This Commercial has nothing to do whether or not I will buy the game...

Games everybody loves but you can't see why

Halo -- Halo 3 and Halo: Reach specifically. Halo was a nice fun game, the multiplayer was fun -- it's like they took golden eye's multiplayer, gimped it, updated the graphics then released it. Halo 2 built very well on what Halo did, introducing some new options to the game. Halo 3 to me did...

I think my boyfriend is developing a WoW addiction?

WoW is addicting only if you have good friends to play it and/or a personality that suits addiction. The game is fun at first, there's unique stories for each race and class combo, but then after a while all the quests and classes start running together and it becomes monotonous. Then, when...

Question of the Day, October 27, 2010

To a certain extent, there are some songs that I absolutely love that have come from games -chrono trigger had a master sound track, FFX, SOTC, etc. then, there are some games where it's best to just put it on mute, fire up pandora/last.fm and get crazy -- I do that a lot for TF2, Counterstrike...

James Cameron Commits to Avatar 2 & 3

I'm not looking forward to this. The story is unoriginal and the technology is starting to become really gimmicky.

What was the first anime you watched?

Dragon Ball Z, Outlaw Star, Blue Sub 6, FLCL, and then, after all that, Evangelion and End of Evangelion -- it's like drinking coffee for the stimulant effect, then jumping straight into hard drugs.

    Computer whiz?

Hey, I know I'm the new guy here, but I make a living in IT/computer work, so here goes. I have a relatively new system, desktop, ATI HD4890 with a gig of video ram, quad core cpu and 8GB of DDR2 with a nice WD Caviar Black harddrive -- this was all top of the line stuff roughly a year or...

    Poll: DA:O. Fallout 3 or L4D2

It's a tough call between DA:O and L4D2 for me. L4D2 does expand greatly on what L4D did. more weapon variety, more enemy variety, more level variety, different play modes, (realism and scavenge) I've only played it split screen on the 360 and I've enjoyed it immensely thus far. Dragon Age...

New PC, now I just need new PC games~

If you're in to RTS type games, I would highly recommend sins of a solar empire and/or world in conflict. Both are quite a bit of fun in my experience. Dragon Age is an excellent RPG. Go for it. L4D/L4D2 is awesome multiplayer fun.

    Unexpected Freebies

even though my job is a swirling vortex of hate, I take solace that there's small perks that I get from it here and there: free hot chocolate, free sweet n low for my coffee, free computer hardware when the company is getting ready to throw it out, free cables (usb, vga, etc) when I need them, I...

    Candy!

Invariably, I love chocolate. Either I will have a Reese's cup or anything with dark chocolate in it.

Poll: What beverage is your favorite in the morning?

Coffee. I'll drink six cups of it on my own, but I'm very picky on how it's made. Always a tablespoon per cup, with a dash of salt thrown in. 5 packets of sweet n low, and 3 tablespoons coffee mate. It's enough caffeine to keep me going all day.

Which voice is the voice in your head?

My voice in my head is my own... except when I'm angry. Then I get Ganon's voice from the Philips CD-i Zelda games "YOU MUST DIE."
