Nope. If its old, in poor health and they killed it quickly without causing it undue pain or stress then its not so different from having your pet put down. What she did afterwards is pretty fucked up, but in no way a crime. I don't like it or agree with it but there it is.

I haven't played Arkham or Dark Souls so am not in a position to comment in my own opinion. I'd go for LA Noire, but I know full well I'd probably enjoy the other two more.
