The developers have already stated that there will be a way to push past choices in to Witcher 3 on PS4 and Xbox One. Not via a save game import but a conversation early in the game.
This is from this past Jan:
"According to the developers, at the beginning of the game Geralt will interact...
My progression in life has been briefs as a kid, boxers as a teenager and boxer briefs as an adult. Since making the switch to boxer briefs, there's no going back. I like the length (perfect for working out and playing sports) and the support it provides the jewels.
It took me a while to get in to GTA V Online but once I did, I went all out. I haven't been back in a few months because it was getting too stale for me. I was really hoping there'd be heists early on. I'm not completely done with it, I'm just not going to be getting back in to it any time soon.

It could be that they own a PS4 and have never played the game? Because I fall in that category and I don't regret getting one of the most critically acclaimed games of last year for my new console.
Aye, I was hoping for a gritty game set in the Star Wars universe. Playing as a bounty hunter in the seedy Coruscant underground had so much potential. It could have been what the Prey 2 trailer looked like. Too bad this thing is done for.
