Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions HELP

I am DESPERATE to play War of the Lions, but see, I'm worried about the infamous slowdown. I know it can be patched and I would like to play it on my PSP as I never feel right playing with emulators. Can the slowdown be patched on the PSP version? Does it require modding the PSP? If so that's...

Avatar: Tsu'tey's Path (2019) and Avatar: The Next Shadow (2021). Recent expansions to the world of James Cameron's Avatar. What do you think?

I am about to start picking up Tsu'tey's path and truth be told I am excited. Avatar (mainly out of nostalgia) holds a special place in my heart, I've played the games which are now as old the movie, so these new comics are genuinely exciting for the few people who care. Especially The Next...

    What are you currently playing?

Phantasy Star Portable on the PSP. I started to play the game during a sad spell to just switch my brain off and enjoy the silly sci-fi anime action, and hell did it deliver. It's as simple as they come gameplay-wise, aim and attack until thing stops moving, get XP, keep on moving. Story-wise...

    RPGs/JRPGs. Name your favourites.

I wish I had the time in the day to really sit down with a good RPG. Specifically JRPGs. I find them so comforting y'know? They're (usually) very pretty and aesthetically pleasing, fun characters (even if they are just anime tropes), clear heroes and villains- fighting for your friends, for love...

Halo CE, 2 and 3 - What's your bronze, silver and gold ranking for the trilogy?

I'm a little late for the party, having finally picked up the Master Chief collection for PC and finished the fight, I now understand the big deal with Halo. What a ride. I'm very much looking forward to ODST and the Forerunner Trilogy! Gold - Halo 2 Silver - Halo 3 Bronze - Halo CE In my humble...

£60-70 for Games just do not make sense in 2020...

It is a hell of a lot of money. I've been so used to buying second-hand games that full price games baffle me, especially finding a PS2 game with a £30 sticker on it from release then buying it for maybe £1 (thank you CeX).

    Online learning struggles

It's interesting to read about this situation from your point of view! But unfortunate that it is just as inconvenient for you as it is for the students. That disconnect really is one the worst things about this, there's no real engagement staring at a screen- as most students I know do turn...

    Online learning struggles

It's actually sweet to read a positive story about this whole situation! Though it isn't perfect, it's working for y'all! Thank you for your reply!

    Online learning struggles

Oh goodness yes, everyone is much more stuck in their bubble online, like they'd rather be somewhere else. No one is engaged, no banter, no helping each other out. But of course it is necessary, like you said about the virus- schools are breeding grounds, so this is just how things will be for...

    Online learning struggles

This isn't fun, is it? Maybe it is for some, I can't speak for all- but I know I speak for most students when I say this utterly bogus. I've never been a great student, I almost totally relied on spending full days in school in classes then going to the library to continue working- I am not...

How Much Does Multiplayer Population Matter?

Good point, very different types of multiplayer.

Whatever happened to Phantasy Star and Star Ocean?

I know Phantasy Star Online 2 is still a big hit and there's that mobile spin off, Idolatries (if that counts), but whatever happened to the RPG it used to be? Star Ocean too, where's that these days?

Comic books! What are you reading? What do you recommend?

As a newcomer to the comic book scene, I'd like to see what you folks of the Escapist forums have been enjoying. My favourite graphic novel currently is The Boys (omnibus volume one). I also found myself brilliantly entertained by tales of Captain Britain. I've ordered a lot of D&D comics too...

How Much Does Multiplayer Population Matter?

I'll put the video in watch later! Large populations are reassuring to me! For example; Final Fantasy XI vs XIV. There's definitely a great deal of dedicated XI players, but I found it much more intimidating. Final Fantasy XIV had a friendlier crowd.

What wrong with mobile game and F2P in general. (Dissertion)

I like your motto! The classic mobile games were some of the best. Monster Dash comes to mind, brilliant fun! It's been brought back now but it's just... Worse. It requires internet, the art style is different and even the music is different. Shame.
