Zero Punctuation: Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

I did forget to touch on the ridiculous story. Yahtzee covered the essentials, there, but there is also a long part that goes "There is some other girl, and I guess she's Kane's (Or Lynch's? I can't keep them straight) daughter, or his girlfriend, or his mail-order bride. Somehow K&L's...

Zero Punctuation: Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

Terrible game, which gives me an undeserved sense of entitlement for having stuck it out and beaten it. Spot-on review. It looked great, except that they used that great system to make areas look bugs-crawling-all-over-you disgusting. And populated it with hundreds of copies of an overweight...

Doraleous and Associates: Episode 27: Neebs Vs. Titanus

The golem army seems a little green now, but with that spring in their step they're sure to become seasoned warriors before they fall. They'll weather this storm easily. I wonder if they have any plants behind the enemy's walls. Then again, their army might be rotten to the core. Those poor sods...

    Escape to the Movies: Inception

This movie was awesome. Go and see it, if you haven't already... ...obviously. Duh.

Unskippable: Lost Planet 2: Part 2

Ahaha, great follow-up to Part One! I absolutely did not notice that no one was driving the boat until now. Great commentary, some very clever jokes, and a lot of lower-browed jokes to spackle between the ones that could have gone over my head. Most excellent.

    Escape to the Movies: Predators

This movie just kicked the shit out of every Predator movie since Predator. I think my one gripe is that there is an extra-shitty explosion effect about 2/3s of the way through the film. Seriously, it was awful. It was also an "outrun the explosion" sequence, which are always stupid. Ugh...

Unskippable: Lost Planet 2: Part 1

Ugh, this game. It has got to have the dumbest single/co-op setup and automated saving system in... ever. Also, yeah, the screens are tiny. I don't know if it's even possible to co-op on, gasp, a "normal" TV screen (30 inches, standard def? I just made that up, but it sounds sort of normal)...

The Last Airbender is now this year's Eragon?!

Well, I never saw Eragon. But here's what a guy who heard The Last Airbender sucked thought about it when he saw it: Haha, oh wow. This movie is genuinely awful. You can even strip out the elements that could have just been awful because of the initial bad idea of turning a season's worth of...

    Unskippable: Hybrid Heaven

It was to show that he wasn't human. Because humans don't like being naked. ... Oh no! I'm not human?!

Escape to the Movies: Special: The Day After

Right, definitely -- but I think there must be ways to do that which would make sense from a realistic point of view, too. Instead, it's so crazy and completely random that I can't IMAGINE how that shit is supposed to work (Much less find myself sucked further into the movie by it). Or maybe the...

Escape to the Movies: Special: The Day After

I think apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic movies are popular not just because, as MovieBob stated, people want to see or imagine how their own character would fare in the harshest of "make-or-break" moments (Or simply given an empty world on a platter, like a real-life sandbox game), but also...

    Unskippable: Hybrid Heaven

Wow, unexpected choice of games! This really took me back. I had fun with this game... back when it was one of the only five games I'd ever owned. It was an exploratory time in this young man's life, and seeing a naked man in the opening cutscene was positively terrifying. What if mother saw...

    Escape to the Movies: Splice

In the movie "The Bride of Frankenstein", Dr. Frankenstein is played by Colin Clive and the titular bride is played by Elsa Lanchester. "Splice" contains many general ideas that are, from a certain point of view, very similar to those in "The Bride of Frankenstein". Is that what you're talking...

    Escape to the Movies: Splice

Got to agree. If this movie wanted to be clever, engrossing, and satisfyingly entertaining like District 9, well, then I think it must have been very confused about how to try doing that.
