My laptop won't run anything past the post-release 1.6 so I don't really care that much. It might go down the drain eventually but I think Microsoft are smart enough to not screw up a game with a fanbase this huge.

I agree with your opinion on Fallout 3. I played New Vegas first and couldn't even bear to play to the end of Fallout 3 because of the bad writing and lack of interesting quests (or sidequests in general, actually).

Surprisingly few, actually. I've been playing a lot of Dota 2 the last year and obviously it doesn't have an ending. Dark Souls II The Witcher 2 Gunpoint Papers, Please Terraria (well, I at least got to Hard Mode with my friends) Borderlands 2

I loved that game. I think the servers were still up until about a year ago, but there were never enough players for a Domination match. I actually preferred the 'small' 64-player maps, especially the VALOR Sabotage map where the final point is inside a huge wooden building on a hill.

The real problem is the huge nerf to the number of casts for offensive miracles. My faith-strength build is now completely gimped with Lightning Spear uses down from 11 to 3 (and Emit Force from 8 to 4), and the Defender Greatsword got nerfed as well for some reason.

Arkham Origins' ending was pretty unsatisfying. It didn't feel like an ending at all - the end credits just come out of nowhere.

They're meant to encourage an aggressive playstyle; your crit chance goes up when you've done a lot of damage recently.

The Torgue weapons from Borderlands 2. They fire explosive bullets, and they're ridiculously satisfying to use - especially the somewhat rare, incredibly powerful shotguns.

Jewellery is your friend. Making it gets you lots of XP, since it's worth a lot of money.

You 'came up with it' five months before the game came out. Even if you could get money for this, your claim is tenuous.

You could always try Captain's Mode - that seems to have better players in general, although there are a fair few that rage-quit when their favourite hero gets banned.
