yes the church did say this....as did the scientists of the day. as it happens my exam tomorrow (which im increasingly becomming frustrated with the studying for) involves the scientific revolution of us changing from a geocentric theory of the universe to a heliocentric theory.

Well some people are wary of science (as far as i can gather) because technically (and i am talking technically here) scientific theories can never "truly" be proven to be correct, only 'probably correct' this iv learned after countless tedious discussion with the uni lecturer in the class...

and what i was trying to say (i thought i made it clear but i must not have) is that middle class dont walk blindly into attacks because we tend to suspect everyone of being rough necks. so we avoid any dodgy situation. (except the gormless ones, but they come out in every class)
