Dunno, I can easily imagine her coming out of the bathroom, totally normal, like she just got rid of the crystal particles, asking "what did I miss?"

I find the lack of Erin in this strip unsettling. Guess they're keeping us in the dark regarding her fate.

But did she drink enough to be controlled? Or maybe that poison she had to take (or the fact that she died and came back to life) somehow nullified the crystal inside her? Find out next time, on EDA!

I'm thinking it was so that some of the Shard employees (see Not-Seph there) would be forced to use the soda in large quantities to strengthen them, and therefore accelerate the rate of crystal growth and/or make it easier to mind control them.

What's wrong with that? Some people find gamepads much better for any game that doesn't need precision aiming.
