Game Theory: The Human Hive Mind Theory (Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void)

By his theory, I'd say we are rather comparable to the Protoss and their empathic links in the Khala.

The end of season 19 of South Park

I have mixed feelings about this season... On the one hand the continuity was great. South Park tackled some big problems of today's society and made them theme for an entire season. Gone are the days when South Park relied on nothing but nasty shock humor (but of course, they still do it...

Nintendo Is Too Easy (The Golden Leaf)

Video games should offer a wide range on difficulties, so that everybody can enjoy it. It's okay to build in challenges that only can be achieved by good gamers, but why prevent "noobs" from enjoying a game until the end? A really good game should have a very low entry level so that it can...

How is the new wave of "old school" RPGs doing?

I can only talk about Divinity:OS, because that's the only one of those games I've played so far. But I heard lots of good stuff about PoE, so I'll maybe get that one day. Wasteland 2, on the other hand, seems to get some criticism. But mostly, those games managed to improve on older titles...

OK, let's choose our GOTY and our biggest disappointment of 2015

I can't really put my finger on which game exactly is GOTY for me. Undertale has given me the most feels, Cities:Skylines was my most pleasant surprise this year and Witcher 3 had given me the most fun experience overall (though, I didn't even finish that one yet. Who has the time playing...

Legend of Heroes: Trails in the sky SC is finally out!

Dammit, I didn't even finish the first game yet. I don't know if that many people know about this game. If you're a fan of old school JRPG you totally should get the game - It's like an old PS1/SNES JRPG. The first part is on sale on Steam and GoG right now.

Poll: Meat causes cancer :O | What will you do? | Human Evolution vs. Contemporary Science?

Meat is a luxury article that contributes to pollution and animal abuse (greatly depending on the amount of cash you want to pay for your meat). Like so many luxury things it would be a lot better to completely go without it, that's true. But the same goes for electronics (do you really need a...

Poll: Meat causes cancer :O | What will you do? | Human Evolution vs. Contemporary Science?

If you eat multiple kilograms of meat each week, you'll probably get cancer and a dozen other kinds of diseases. The magic words are "in moderation". If you eat meat in a healthy amount your additional risk of cancer will only be slightly higher. We can't keep away all causes of cancer, but we...

"The Know" app is what Peeple has nightmares of

I'm pretty sure that you're able to insist on getting your stuff permanently deleted if you happen to get a review in that app. If you can write a letter to Facebook it will work the same in a small app like that. When I think about it... probably this app will be banned anyway. At least here...

    Resident Evil 5 on PC

I played the game with a friend today and he had the same problem as you do. He didn't want to download GFWL and the game didn't want to start afterwards. Installing the patch helped. And online coop still worked.

    Resident Evil 5 on PC

Seems like the game still needs GFWL in case some people want to import old save files and acheivements. So the game will install GFWL, but not use it directly in the game. http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Resident_Evil_5#Issues_fixed And maybe the Maluc patch mentioned there will help you...

your biggest upsets and hype causers of the year

Biggest hype so far was Cities:Skylines. Followed closely by Isaac: Afterbirth and Fallout 4. At least for Cities, the hype was well deserved, it's all I ever wanted in a city builder. I can't imagine how Afterbirth will not live up to its hype. And Fallout 4... let's see. Biggest upset...

How did you guys get into PC gaming ?

Every single gaming person I know played consoles at one point. In the beginning, there was peace. We all played on our glorious SNES - nobody owned anything from Sega. But the rows became devided in the year '97, later known as 'the year of the breach', when suddenly some people played on...

What Are Some Good Games That You Play While Listening To Something Else?

I'm also somebody that has to do stuff in the background while playing some games. Either listen to podcasts or watching TV shows. Games where I like doing this: Binding of Isaac, Cities: Skylines, Europa Universalis, Civilization, WoW. So, mainly games that don't have a real story behind...

Building a computer for the first time

I'm using an AMD right now, but the next GPU (I'm gonna buy soonish) most certainly will be Nvidia. AMD isn't doing too good right now. Also, their GPUs eat a lot more power. Also, you should get yourself an SSD. At least a small one with 120GB for your OS and most used programs. It's much faster
