This could be seen as good value compared to something like world of warcraft where you have to subscribe and buy the game, as the subscription fee only gives you access to one game.

On the PC i'd recommend looking at the penumbra series (available on steam). While the graphics are a bit bland the gameplay is really scary. The fact that you have no real weapons demonstrates why the genre is SURVIVAL horror as opposed to say Doom 3 which is just a horror FPS. The games also...
