Aside from the mentioned missing DLC, Resident Evil 5 is a solid port on the PC. It runs perfectly for me. My friend and I played through it multiple times without a single issue. Half the time was via LAN and the rest was online.

Nope, it doesn't. It only runs when you open it. Oh, you are one of those people. You haven't even used it. I'm on Windows 7 x64 and it is running fine. The mouse seems a little slow, but that could just be the sensitivity. I haven't had any crashes or other issues.
