It depends on what kind of difficulty. Personally, I like the difficulty where if I lose or fail, it's completely my fault. Not the fault of buggy AI, game-breaking glitches, artificial difficulty, or sudden changing of the rules or mechanics. Demon/Dark Souls and VVVVVV are good examples...

Hey. Hey. Here's a thought. Instead of taking the easy route and blaming the video game for the violence, let's look at the fact that there was a loaded, unsupervised gun just lying around within a child's reach.

DLC is a mixed bag. On one hand, you have amazing DLCs that enhance what is already a good experience (Episodes From Liberty City, Mothership Zeta, Lonesome Road, etc). On the other hand, you have games with way too much DLC, such as Sleeping Dogs and Mafia II.
