As someone who's been lurking around here since Unforgotten Realms and Doomsday Arcade and only ever flirted with actually being part of the forums, I'd say you guys have longer than you think.
This site has been "on its way to the grave" as you put it for quite a while now. I get the feeling...
There were 2 or 3 clones in the Republic Commando books who had girlfriends. Even though they were clones. It made little sense and felt shoehorned in. But I didn't hear criticism of that. No "No sexuality in my Star Wars" there.
Just saying.
I picked three, mainly just because I want to see them make out already.
I mean people who say 4 or 5 like, c'mon just read between the lines, it's not gonna happen.
But 1's points about the Church are interesting.
Don't even get me started on 2.
Excuse me? You think you can get away with talking about that without showing a picture?!
Probably my DVDs of Gundam 00 and Death Note. If we were to extend the are to my room then maybe the BlazBlue art on my wall or my gunpla.
Casual mode is fine as long as it stays an option. I can see why people would want it. I liked the breakable weapons though. Keeping track of your troops equipment and having to stock up at shops really made me feel like I was in charge of an army.
So recently I've been reading a lot of Spice and Wolf and that coupled with the recent popularity of the "Space Trading Game" as I'd call them like the X series, (I'm sure there's a more professional genre name) got me wondering.
Would people be interested in a game that swapped out the...
I do kinda get where the angry people are coming from. I mean if I was to say "Oh I hate that black character, he's an n-word." could I justify that by saying "But I'm talking about a fictional character"?
That...is some ugly art right there. Like seriously? I mean I don't read comics but the parts of seen of them usually look really nice. I mean those pages are just awful looking.
As far as I can tell the people who are complaining about this basically have the viewpoint of "I'm not against gay people being in games, but I don't want to actually see it." If it's a subtle bit of backstory (such as here) it's "pointless" and "the game's about fighting so who cares" and if...
And like I've said I'd rather more mature sexual content than "You are well known as a lover so women sleep with you."
Pacing can be broken up, comedic relief offered (not sure how they're comedic but okay) and her sexuality established (if that's even necessary?) without a pandering sex...
I fail to see how her scenes develop her character in any way...And it is still a serious story, I mean I think it's important to note I still love the game. This doesn't ruin it for me, it's just an aspect I don't like. And even if you can say no, it still bothers me that you have the option of...
I am also European (Irish). It's not so much that it's a big deal. My point is that the Witcher approaches a lot of things with maturity, but not sex. I feel it's just tonally dissonant. If it was a lighter game I'd probably have less of an issue.
