First one that comes to mind is the final boss of FTL. My ship was on fire in about 3 different rooms, there were 2-3 boarding parties wreaking merry hell with my ship systems and I was at less that 25% health. Just before my weapons systems gave out I was able to fire off the finishing missile...

If you can, find a paralyze weapon as quickly as possible. You'd be amazed how much that breaks combat. At least, that's the way I remember it. Haven't played Morrowind in a long time, but I remember having a paralyze sword and a poison sword and just alternating between them a lot in combat.

Yeah, wouldn't that be nice... Ah well. Interesting story though, hope the guy manages to get his life in order...

Personally, I'm putting my money on Shepard dying. They keep saying that ME3 is the last game to feature Shepard, and it seems like that would be as good a way as any of getting over him

Meh, I'm all right. Took an IQ test a LONG time ago that put me at above average, but not overwhelmingly so. I do honestly think that the OP should have given more options, since it seems obvious that the average Escapist viewer would put themselves in the "above average" tier.

I would add my voice to those recommending Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It would be impossible to overstate its impact on me as a gamer, and was probably the first game that really got me thinking about studying game design (which I am now in college for). I would also recommend AI War...
