Dishonored. Theoretically it should have been an awesome game by my standards (stealth, assassination, steam punk setting, etc.) but the elements did not mix well. Combine that with a bland as white bread story and I meh'ed so hard I busted something.
I have to concur with you on the awesomeness that is VtMB. I played the hell out of the game. I still go back and play it when I want an immersive RPG experience.
Thank goodness that there is a fan made patch that takes care of most of the bugs (as well as restoring deleted content).
And you beat me to the reply to this post.
As for System Shock 2, I picked it up on GOG and damn it is a tough game. Actually had to set it aside for a bit and play something a little more user friendly. It's like the game actively hates you as you play it.
Thank you for that excellent tribute to an amazing artist.
I grew up on his films, watching them on Creature Features late at night. Utterly spellbound by his monsters. His influence will be felt for years in the movie industry.
Excellent article. I would play any one of those games. Although I am definitely leaning towards the Game of Thrones fighter, mainly for the same reasons Yahtzee is (that whiny, little tosser needs to die).
Yes they are still that ridiculous. If you are laying off people and still earning that much as a CEO, you are not doing your job right. If Activision was expanding, showing uber profit, and doing really good. Then yea, I could see it being justified.
But it is not.
