Do people not understand that whatever you call it, they're both just different zoom features? Iron Sights or a scoped crosshair both have the same function, they're just presented different stylistically. Halo has had it's own unique zoom since the franchise started, it shouldn't get rid of it...
Tried it for full price when it released and it's an utterly lacking multiplayer experience and shooter altogether. Lots of ideas Brink had sounded great but the ultimate execution of it failed.
It's always kind of silly to believe that games are getting universal acclaim because every critic is being paid for it. What happens when the game releases and lots of regular gamers find the game to be good as well? Were they paid by Nintendo?
In terms of personal preference, I always tend to go for the bitchy characters in BioWare games like Miranda or Morrigan. So here, I voted Miranda. As an overall character though I thought Tali and Jack were the most interesting in the Mass Effect games, and Tali is clearly the most likable...
Killstreaks in Call of Duty.
Why someone thought it would be a good, logical idea to give players already doing well an added advantage is beyond me. Very much of the complaints hardcore Call of Duty fans (which I am not, by the way) had with the franchise stemmed from the fact the...
Definitely Devil May Cry 2. There are a lot of sequels that are just disappointing in some way (Final Fantasy X-2, Fable II, KOTOR 2), but Devil May Cry 2 was all around bad.
The reason I like Oblivion over Fallout 3 is simple. The combat. Fallout 3's VATs system is great but the real-time shooting is kind of lacking and dodgy.
That is a fair point. I still don't personally think it's anymore with Halo than anything else, but that view I can understand.
The fifteen minute penalty should just be a start. If people continue to quit after that then they aren't doing anything but hindering other players which is when...
If people aren't quitting in the lobby, then they're usually quitting because they're losing. It wouldn't make sense to have players fill the spots on a team that's being demolished by another, especially if they have significant map control or a lead. It's better than playing out a game without...
Try this: http://nextgenwalkthroughs.com/Halo_Reach
It's video walkthrough. I haven't used it but I heard it helps a lot. My general tips are:
- Any time you have a place to hang back and let the Noble Team do work for you, just relax. It might take forever but they will eventually kill...
LOL@the second quote response.
Players can't join Halo games mid-match. This has some problems but for the most part I can see why it's implemented. However in some cases, there should be mid-match joining. For example, in the lobby, which really isn't even DURING the match. When a vote goes...
People quitting doesn't bother me until it drastically effects the fun of a game. In Halo's case, it really depends on the mode and the skill of the teams if a person or a few quitting will make it shitty. If I'm ever the last person on my team though, I quit. Why not? It's not going to be fun...
Seeing him in Metroid Prime was awesome. I wish they would have put Kraid in there too, because the concept design for Kraid in Prime looked insane too.
