What keeps you awake at night?

My nutty, noisy neighbour. I've recently reported her to the council and I'm hoping that it does the trick but this whole episode has left me with anxiety.

    Poll: Do you cook?

I moved out of my parent's place (again) a year and a half ago and was determined to learn to cook properly. Frankly, if my mother doesn't know how to cook it then it's not food, so she's been a big help with advice and both my parents have bought me a crapload of cooking gear for my birthdays...

    Zero Punctuation: Godzilla - God-Awful-Zilla

Going by the reviews I've seen / read, it seems that they were actually trying to make a worse game than R**e to H*ll: R*tributi*n. Sounds like they came pretty close...

Kickstarter of the Century? Half a Million to Save Armstrong's Spacesuit

Yeah, there would be a good chance of that with me, too... "I'm about to step off the LM now. That's one small step for a man...AND I AM ON THE F**KING MOON! JESUS H. TAPDANCING CHRIST!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!"

Kickstarter of the Century? Half a Million to Save Armstrong's Spacesuit

Me to except my first words couldn't be put in the newspapers without heavy censoring. Yeah, there would be a good chance of that with me, too... "I'm about to step off the LM now. That's one small step for a man...AND I AM ON THE F**KING MOON! JESUS H. TAPDANCING CHRIST...

Kickstarter of the Century? Half a Million to Save Armstrong's Spacesuit

I have to agree with those who say that the government should pony up the cash for this one as it has to be one of the most culturally-significant items in US history. Either way, it would be a crime to let it fall into such a state that it can't be fixed so I will be donating to this...

Kickstarter of the Century? Half a Million to Save Armstrong's Spacesuit

Because it's one of the most significant items in US history? A symbol of what can be done if we, as a species, put our minds to it. Pictures in a book are all well and good but to actually see it up close can be much more inspiring. No it wont combust but, like anything else, it will not...

Kickstarter of the Century? Half a Million to Save Armstrong's Spacesuit

Given the circumstances, I think Neil could be forgiven for fluffing his lines, if that were the case. If I were in his boots, babbling like an over-excited, sugar-fuelled 4 year old would be the limit of my eloquence!

So how is the gay marriage ruling going to impact you?

In a direct way it wont but it has made many friends of mine happy as they are now recognised as legally married. If they're happy then I am happier as a result. I'm also loving seeing the right-wing and/or religious types having a meltdown over it. Good. They deserve it for all the...

    Videogame bars that you love

I have several bars that I like to frequent in games, I just wish they were better implemented. It's good to be able to buy drinks and pick up on gossip but you should be able to do what people go into bars to do - socialise. It'd be cool if you cold gain points with people if you buy them...

Poll: Is Cracker a derogatory term? And can one be racist against white people?

Ah-ah! You can't say "Cracker", because that's nasty! The politically-correct term is "Saltine-American". Now being serious, racism can be directed at anyone, by anyone. It seems to be popular amongst wooly-minded pseudo-liberals to assert that minorities can't be racist and / or white...

Poll: How do you personally feel about the term cisgender?

I proudly and openly support LGBT rights and I'm glad that, so far, it's appreciated.

Poll: How do you personally feel about the term cisgender?

One thing I didn't mention was that I have no idea if the very few people I've heard use the term were trans-gendered or otherwise. The first time I heard it I had to use Google to find out what the smeg they were talking about... If I'm honest the term, when used in this way, bothers me...

Poll: How do you personally feel about the term cisgender?

I've only ever encountered it a few times and each time it was used as an insult or a negative. The first time I heard it / was called it was when I replied to a friend's tweet and we were talking about something totally unrelated. Someone else responded and included the term: "hominidae...
