I have so many questions. Does Erin have a job? How does she get her food? Are bills good for growing bonsai trees?
Exactly. I've been quoted three times that she has her groceries delivered, but by the looks of things she hasn't opened her front door in a long, long time. Does she have it pushed through the mail slot in microwave dinner form?
through the windows. and if she's still a games reviewer she can do that from home.
I doubt she opens her blinds. Ever. Or that the delivery companies consent to tackling the deliveries up through her window without, y'know, signing for it.

Seriously, the biggest question in this thread is how does Erin get her groceries...

...and not how a bonsai grew on a diet of bills and spam in a span of two panels?

On another note: Now I understand why Erin is becoming more and more "cute" in the original strips.

she may live on the ground floor.

or. perhaps she is dead. and this comic is about her crazy halucinating ghost.

Damnit, I was pretty sure Rad Panda was Crash Bandicoot rather than Sonic.

Maybe she has a diet consisting of slices of ham, small pizzas and American cheese?

... I don't know who might deliver that though, seems pretty niche.

Wait, if Rad hasn't seen her since she was 8 years old, how does he know she hasn't left her condo for at least two years?
Being a figment of her imagination has some perks I guess.

Wow, uh, I didn't think I'd say this but the new character design for Erin is adorable.

I also like the direction of the story more than CM...in that it actually has one.

This totally isn't the intent, but I can see future me trying to pull this and saying it was the plan all along.

EXCEPT THIS ONE. I DIDN'T THINK ABOUT THIS ONE.
Maybe the back door of her house is close to the front door, so instead of picking up the mail when the delivery man knocks she just opens the back door and waves him hither?

Maybe I missed something but is this in a separate continuity from Critical Miss? This Erin seems to be a regression from how she in in Critical Miss so I'm not sure if this a prequel or reimagining. Maybe it doesn't matter.

Yeah, it's separate continuity. Apparently Critical Miss Erin was intended to be more of a serious character eventually, but by the time they got comfortable enough to try something a bit more serious the strip was too well established as "quirky but sometimes a bit dark video game humor" and to suddenly take a hard left on "Feels Street" would been jarring and bad for the people who liked the comic as it was. So this is a version that's more follows the original intent.

They really should have just called this comic "Critical Miss: Brotherhood"; it would have cleared a lot of things up. I'd suggest "Rebuild of Erin: You Will [Not] Die Alone"... but then I think we already know the creators views on that show pretty well...
Ok that clears things up, thanks.

According to his blog though he likes Eva a lot. They just also like to make fun of the easily startled (to put it lightly) fanbase.
